Yes. The codes (Which are like rules/guidelines) which these genres follow in order to live up to their names and deliver to the audience

Hello to everyone.

I have a question (if you help me [AKA really help me out], I might rep++ you).

For one of my uni courses, I need to introduce various outside medium over a certain topic. Mine happens to be Americanization, so I'm trying to take stills of Rammstein's video for "Amerika" (I love that song and video).

Basically, I need some screenshots of:

- The band in the US astronaut gear on the moon
- Santa Claus in the African nation
- The poverty-ridden land eating pizza and watching TV
- The Indian kids walking with a sun umbrella, eating a burger, and drinking Pepsi
- And other similar things

I hope you understand.

Every time I try to take a screenshot, the video continues to play in MSPaint :(

So, I save the screenshot, exit, and begin playing the video. Rinse and repeat.

I open up all the files, and they're all blank :(

Any suggestions/help?

Kif: I'm 16. It was really funny. We were getting candy from the house, and the kid ran up to his dad crying saying someone stole his candy. So my friend and I offered the kid our candy, but he didn't want it. So we walk away and watch the kid's dad walk out into the street and he walks up to some black kids, and we hear them exchanging some nasty words. The dad called them "Black SOB's." ( :eek: ) We walked away to avoid getting involved in anything, then when we were walking down another street we saw a bunch of flashing lights over in the general area, so the cops must have showed up. I may be mean, but I thought it was hilarious.

But seriously, how low can you go? It's not like it would have been hard to get yourself some candy or anything. Everyone in the neighborhood was giving it out for free.

I'm assuming it's a .avi file, but it doesn't matter that much

That's a free small program for small video editing, in which you can take captures of screenshots you want. Very simple to use, just open the video file in Virtual Dub, then go to the frame you want using the slider at the bottom. Then press Ctrl+1, and the screenshot will be in you clipboard

This program allows you to download streams. Just right click on the video, go to properties, and there should be a URL with something like "mms://" Copy and paste that whole thing and tell Hidownload to download that link.

Since there's no back and forth, (it's the same as downloading from a regular website link, as far as I know) it's not blocked by college systems, just incase that's why you don't have it on your computer in the first place.

It works great for streamed pron videos too.
