People talk of situations
Read books, repeat quotations
Draw conclusions on the wall
Some speak of the future
I went to work to buy one. I bought a good one for 180 dollars. It's not the best, but it's electric.
Hmm, not bad.

Argh, **** i just spent loads of money on scratch cards and didn't win at all :(

sketchyjoe 01-14-2006 10:23 AM

I think I might just get a crappy acoustic guitar to play around on.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-14-2006 10:27 AM

Mine is really really bad, i need a new one ASAP.

That's why i'm stupidly buying loads of scratch cards, to try and win.

I've lost ike 20 quid this week from them :(

Flagjacket 01-14-2006 10:27 AM

What is it with parents as buying acoustic guitars for you when you want an electric?

sketchyjoe 01-14-2006 10:33 AM

They're ex-hippies who think you want to strum along to a fireside sing-song of Kumbaya.

Anarcho Poser 01-14-2006 10:34 AM
Definitely man. I'll have it finished soon. And I'm giving it more time, I'd really like to see more regulars doing it. And I know you would too.
I'd do it, but I sux at writing songs :upset:
Mine is really really bad, i need a new one ASAP.
My first bass was an accoustic, and it's the worst bass I've ever played. That's what I get for ordering it from Ebay I guess.

Dylan <3 Is there nothing he can't do?

sketchyjoe 01-14-2006 11:04 AM

Yes.

Rise Me Up 01-14-2006 11:07 AM
Yes.
Name it. (besides write bad music, he can't do that.)

sketchyjoe 01-14-2006 11:13 AM

Yes there is nothing he cannot do.

It's a double negative. He cannot do nothing so he can do everything.

If the question was: "Is there anything he can't do?" the answer would be "No." but as it is "Is there nothing he can't do?" the answer is yes.

Angry Balled Fists! 01-14-2006 11:26 AM

Just like how in maths with equations, two negatives = a plus, rite ?

sketchyjoe 01-14-2006 11:29 AM

Yes. I'm not not doing something means I am doing it. An even number of negatives is a plus while an odd number is still a negative. So I'm not not not not not not not doing something means I'm not doing it and so on.

Mmkay...

sketchyjoe 01-14-2006 11:32 AM

I'm just going out to see Jarhead. I think it looks good.

DaveToopes 01-14-2006 11:33 AM
I'm just going out to see Jarhead. I think it looks good.
I saw it. It was pretty good, don't expect too much action though, it focuses more on psychological parts of war.

Skidmark Steve 01-14-2006 12:17 PM

I havent gone to the movies in so long.

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 12:19 PM

I'm going tonight.

AIRIC 01-14-2006 12:25 PM

I went to see the Ringer over Christmas Break

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 12:35 PM

How was it?

Angry Balled Fists! 01-14-2006 12:44 PM

I don't go to the cinema, i haven't been in like 2 years or so...

Ghostfire3 01-14-2006 01:28 PM

I still wanna see Walk the Line, damnit.

Movies on my "To See" list:

1. Fight Club
2. Walk the Line
3. A Clockwork Orange
4. Romper Stomper
5. American History X

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 01:47 PM

1. Fight Club = awesome
2. Walk the Line = just as awesome
3. A Clockwork Orange = really good; classic
4. I haven't seen this one.
5. American History X = fantastic.

Flagjacket 01-14-2006 01:55 PM

Romper Stomer is pretty good

I would like to point out that he is a zionist cu'nt. There, I pointed it out.

obese_breasts 01-14-2006 03:00 PM

Wooo! for waking up at 1pm.

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 03:02 PM

It's 4 pm, westie.

AIRIC 01-14-2006 03:03 PM

str8^

Angry Balled Fists! 01-14-2006 03:08 PM

Er, try 9:10 pm.

I love being home alone.

Brain Toad 01-14-2006 03:24 PM

I like playing my acoustic more than my electric now.

I never bother plugging my electric in though, so an acoustic is just easier then hearing my electric sound ****ty without being amped.
I think I might just get a crappy acoustic guitar to play around on.
I got one from a friend for free. I like to mess around.

I tried to learn 8 Full Hours of Sleep but all the chords were wrong except the first one.

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 03:48 PM

I'll consider an acoustic bass someday when I have money to squander on such unnecessary things.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-14-2006 03:50 PM

Acoustic bass as in stand-up/double bass or as in one of those weird acoustic basses.

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 03:50 PM

One of those weird ones. I'm not interested in upright. They're for crazy elitists and people who play in orchestras.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-14-2006 03:52 PM
One of those weird ones. I'm not interested in upright. They're for crazy elitists and people who play in orchestras.
What about psychobilly? That's what I want one for. I want to play some Tiger Army bass lines.

Liebensaft 01-14-2006 03:54 PM

An upright bass isn't a necessity for that. Either way, they don't interest me.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-14-2006 04:06 PM

Just looks like fun to me.
