#12 could be a fun show, but I generally try to steer clear of hxc shows unless I love the band because the scene here is so full of douches. They usually ruin the show to some degree at least. I prefer ska or metal shows.

Usurp Synapse = screamo

# 12 = mathcore/screamo...amazing musicians right there. Their screamers' voices are awesome, too. Overall a truly amazing band...they're currently my favorite.

I liked him better with The Smiths, but I'm not a big fan of either. I have a hell of a lot of respect for them but a lot of people only like them because it's "trendy" and "scene" to do so...oh well. I know my roots. I'm just not very partial to the indie roots. :)

Eh, I'm generally not a fan of screamo because, like emo, the vocals are just shatteringly terrible.

I actually don't mind #12's vox though so eh. Best mathcore type band is still DEP imo.

Yeah, Dillinger are a wicked Mathcore/Math metal band, but so are Meshuggah! Meshuggah are really good, you should check them out if you don't know them already Vince and Gav.

And are Circle Takes the Square considered to be Mathcore aswell? I've heard them been called that, but alot of other people just call them screamo...

Meshuggah is alright. Only thing I have of them is "I" which is great hehe.
