NO no. Just no. Marvel would not have a chance of beating DC. As to your hulk vs superman comment, true, the hulk is incredibly strong, and would indeed pose a serious threat to superman, but you obviously don’t know about ALL of his powers. If supes used his laser vision and his rarely seen cold breath, I believe he could turn the fight in his favor.(I am not being biased, I don’t really like superman, I think he is far to powerful) Also, there are many different ways to finish the hulk. I mean, the guy has the mindset of a two year old, someone like lex luthor might figure something out, and the flash could vibrate through him, causing him to become nothing but a green stain on the sidewalk. Plus, you have to remember, the hulk will revert back to his human form if nobody fights him and he calms down. And I think we all know that bruce banner is not exactly a powerhouse. While he is in human form, they wouldn’t need a vaguely powerful person to take him out. Deadshot the DC assasin could easily snipe him, and he wouldn’t have time to turn into hulk. Also, as you stated earlier, Marvel lacks the heavy hitters they would need to take out DC. I know there are some, but they are all the least popular. When you thing about it, the more popular heroes would probably be the first ones down. Spiderman, while very popular, and loved by many (myself included), isn’t all that strong. He is really lucky he doesn’t have to fight anyone who can fly, or any other real threat. Think about it. If the hulk started smashing up his city, how could he possibly beat him? Or if pretty much any of the good DC villains came to town (darseid, brainiac, mongul,), and decided they didn’t like his neighborhood, spidey wouldn’t pose much of a threat. In fact, there are many reasons DC would win. I never really understood why captain america was even considered to be a decent hero. I get it, he is so patriotic, he pretty strong and smart, in a normal human kinda way, but how could he take out someone like batman? Batman has loads of high tech equipment, and he’s rich. CA has a freaking sheild! I mean, what if he throws it and it doesn’t come back to him? He’s dead. Another popular but inept character. Now let’s look at marvels best card, the x-men. Hey, I like DC better than marvel, but who doesn’t think the x-men are awesome? Individually, the x-men would be small time heroes like spidey, but together they are indeed a force to be reconned with. To defeat the x-men, you would have to eliminate Xavier. He is what binds them together, take him out of the equation, and they not only lose a powerful team member, they lose their leader. The team might not fall apart, but they might not be at their best either. However, taking out The Prof. would be no simple matter. Most heroes/villains wouldn’t even make it within striking distance without him knowing, and forcing his will upon them. If you took him out, you would have to either be REALLY far away, or stronger than him. The martian manhunter is a telepath, but I’m not sure if he is on par with him. He could probably tale out Emma Frost, using his other powers easily, but X would be a problem. Here is how I would see it. He Jonn takes the form of some low ranking X-man who charles doesn’t know very well, after studying him or her for months. He protects his mind using his telepathy, and asks if he can talk to the Xavier, claiming he has something important to tell him. Charles finds no reason not to, and scanning his mind, he allows him into his office, where, as he turns away from him, jonn turns his hand into a sharp blade, and quickly plunges it into Charles, killing him. He then escapes using his intagability to fly through the walls, making a clean getaway, while the X-men are still none the wiser. That would be the beggining of the end of the x-men. Each of the more powerful ones(Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, etc.) are hunted down and destroyed while alone. Lastly, I don’t think you know all of supes weaknesses. Kryponite is indeed one, but electicity, if it is strong enough, can at least stun him. Magic also effects him, and removal from the sun. Yes, for those of you who don’t know, Clark is solar-powered.[LEFT][COLOR=#000000]
