I want to practice my sax but it's too late.

I just got done with my tenor. I did really good vibrato, and now I want to try it in the right key with my alto.

Aaaagh. The solo I'm working on.
Oversleeping? 9 hours would certifiably not qualify as sleeping too much.
Yeah, 7 hours is the minimum you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but 10 is probably the 'best' length of sleep you can have.

Sync0pation 10-08-2006 09:09 PM

For some reason when I sleep 13-14 hrs I have a headache when I wake up and am extremely tired. But yeah, its almost like a parabola, there is one optimum time where when you wake up your brain has filled its deficiency and no more. I hope.

Futuro 10-08-2006 09:10 PM

I get 5 hours of sleep a night. Then I take a nap during the day.

Yeah, most likely. Lately I've been doing what Futuro does, that is get 5-6 hrs, then take a nap, but not my choice.

Janeway 10-08-2006 09:15 PM

Only so much of the sleep you get matters. Like, sleeping 20 minutes every 4 hours is more beneficial than 8 hours a night, because you'll fall directly into REM sleep. You'll get two full hours of REM sleep rather than the one and a half you get in sleeping the full night.

But sleeping is a release, and I love sleeping 16 hours.

White Riot! 10-08-2006 09:17 PM

8 hours of sleep is the best

Sync0pation 10-08-2006 09:23 PM

Yeah. I always end up waking up in NREM sleep for school. Unless I wake up really early around 4:45-5:00 then I'm okay. But then I look at the clock, I'm like oh sht its early, then set it for 6:30 so I can rush to school again. Damn.

goalieman92 10-08-2006 09:24 PM

i do best with like 3-4 hrs and a cup of coffe in the morning

Sync0pation 10-08-2006 09:44 PM

Dude, holy sht. I think Wrathchild told me In Absentia would be a good place to start with Gavin Harrison. So I'm listening to The Creator Has A Mastertape, and i'm creaming.

I swear when I first discovered Porcupine Tree and bought that album, I listened to it nearly constantly for like a month.

Actually, that's happened with pretty much every Porcupine Tree album I own.

Sync0pation 10-08-2006 10:02 PM

Hey I think you quoted the wrong paragraph, but yeah that's probably what I'm going to do. When ever I hear a hot drum lick or some uber creative my mind just goes nuts. I feel a shiver through my body, its that ridiculous.

_Wrathchild_ 10-08-2006 10:03 PM

Oh shi

erm..no I didn't.
>_>

Yeah haha Porcupine Tree are amazing.

Win A Rabbit 10-08-2006 10:23 PM

I finished my book today. Go me. 605 pages, the biggest book I've ever read. And I loved every bit of it. Now I've got another 900 or so pages from the same author ahead of me.

Aaron 10-08-2006 10:24 PM

hah Aaron's good looks win again!

I just went to a drum store and bought Anatomy of a Drum solo for $20 instead of $85 because the girl there was flirting with me. I asked her why it was on sale and she said "oh, just 'cause."

_Wrathchild_ 10-08-2006 10:33 PM

One time me and my sister flirted with one of the sales guys at a shoe store and got a bunch of coupons from him .

Janeway 10-08-2006 10:38 PM

Wheeeee. I'm downloading porn to put on my ZVM.

One lesbian, one het gangbang, and one homosexual 80's thing.

This is the stronghold? Who cares?

Panopticon 10-08-2006 10:46 PM

maybe we shouldnt push it and just make it a contribution instead of a valid one...

love you pespi:smash:

Janeway 10-08-2006 10:47 PM

Yes, because replying to my apparently pointless post was such a contribution in itself.

If you don't like me, don't read my posts.

Rep for the other two of you, though.

Sync0pation 10-08-2006 10:53 PM

Yeah Pepsi doesn't have to be valid

It's the stronghold you didnt have be valid

EDIT: OHHH OOPS, LOOKS LIKE SHE POSTED BEFORE ME AND SAID SHE GAVE REP TO PEOPLE WHO STOOD UP FOR HER.

:0

Win A Rabbit 10-08-2006 10:56 PM

 There's maybe 20 posts in this thread that I'd consider "valid contributions". The rest is all junk, and I love it.

Aaron 10-08-2006 10:58 PM

BB's first post in this thread was the last valid contribution. Look it up and tell me where it is..

Janeway 10-08-2006 11:04 PM

Hmm...

I can't rep Sic or Aaron still.

I do love Tampax.
