No opinion - haven't listened to them. I have heard bad things about them though.
If you've ever seen the mosh pits at a Slayer show, then you know what Pro Pain looks like... Yep. I said it. They all look like "White Power" skinheads. Kind of bugs me because if they're playing, well, I'm not going to the Enemy of God tour. I'm not going to risk my *** getting slaughtered by some moron who thinks "me being hispanic is a right to him to beat the **** out of me". (call me paranoid, but if anything happened to me, well, my parents would probably have a heart attack and my cousin would be in deep ****). Racism  : Humanity's proof of constant decline |
Dargon, what was with that thread that JoZ made about you?
Where was that? |
^^
Last night, Dunno where the thread is now though... has it been closed/deleted? |
TESTAMENT lead vocalist Chuck Billy and founding guitarist Eric Peterson have announced that original guitar player Alex Skolnick and original bassist Greg Christian (HAVOCHATE), along with previous TESTAMENT drummer Johnny Tempesta (HELMET, ex-ROB ZOMBIE), will be joining them for a reunion tour of Europe, taking place between May 7 and May 15 ONLY. The tour will last for a total of nine shows, according to the group's management.
Each of the other three musicians has other bands, projects, and recordings coming out, but they have all agreed to join forces with Chuck and Eric to blow out this limited reunion tour in May. Billy commented, "I'm in music to enjoy it, and playing with my old bandmates after all these years will be killer!" Peterson added, "This reunion tour takes me back 20 years, the fans will freak seeing us together again!" \m/ skolnick is ****ing amazing, they better play more then one show in the uk though i cant get down to london :( |
Wow, that tour would Fucking Rule!
|
fucking lucky europeans, i'm jealous and i don't even like Testament that much
and yeah metal-militia, its been closed. |
Testament came here a few months ago but i didn't go. If they come near here on this tour though i think i will try to go. :)
I don't really like them.
Dargon, what was with that thread that JoZ made about you?
He's just a whining, crying, bitching pussy who can't stand me bashing all his favorite mallcore bands. Ravenous: Go man, you probably have nothing to worry about... *ravenous goes and gets the shit beat out of him* :upset: |
Good to see you back in full form, Dargon.

Riva, man. \m/ NP: Blistered Earth - Electric Eye (Judas Priest cover)

First period class = teh suck.
Found out yesterday that my friend's dad is an Overkill fan. :chug: NP: Dark Angel - Leave Scars |

I was looking for an avatar of Angelripper in the old days, and I found this instead. Does it own or what  |
Ownage. SODOM IST KRIEG!
|
Kreator was great, they still got if after all these years.
Dark Tranquillity was slightly disappointing, I like them a lot, but they didn't play very long and didn't seem to play their best songs. Lots of new stuff and I hardly recognised any songs. Ektomorf was funny, the guy looked like Max Cavalera, acted like Max Cavalera and sounded EXACTLY like Max Cavalera. They sounded like Soulfly though, not Sepultura. They were alright. They were a Hungarian band, it's funny when he said 'All the people in the floor'. Hatesphere was another metalcore band with a bit of death influence, not bad though, but nothing amazing.. I'm exhausted though, that's what I hate about concerts, standing up for sooo long. |
Good to hear Kreator was good! I can't wait to see them in May.

Yeah, they were great, played really long as well.. Unfortunately they didn't play ripping corpse attack :upset: nor did they play Agents of Brutality. |
NO RIPPING CORPSE?!?!?!?!??
How many songs off of Pleasure to Kill and Endless Pain did they play? EDIT: What is the URL for the site where you can put long user titles under your avatar? |
Best song off PtK has to be Command of the Blade.
COMMAND! OV! ZE! BLADE! YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH \m/ \m/ I can't post that URL, I will get banned. I'll slsk it to ya though. in a sec. |
The only song of Pleasure to Kill I can remember is the title track. :-/
The only song of Pleasure to Kill I can remember is the title track. :-/
This will not do. |
Oh and I think they played Tormentor and Flag of Hate.
They opened with enemy of God. |
Oh and I think they played Tormentor and Flag of Hate.
They opened with enemy of God.
Oh, great! Tormentor live must've owned. Enemy of God is a good song too, so I guess I won't be disappointed in a few months. I wish Death Angel would still be playing with them though... |
Just seen Neil Turbin on MySpace. Haha! Still the best Anthrax singer though! There's newer stuff by him on there too - sounds crap.
|
Nice new avatar you've got there RCA :thumb:
The only song of Pleasure to Kill I can remember is the title track. :-/
Did they play Riot of Violence? It's great seeing Ventor sing and play, well it was good on live Kreation anyway. Just Pleasure to Kill(song) is not enough, we want more!!! NP: Testament - Disciples of the Watch |

You don't have to be afraid of somebody just because they have a shaved head. With that said, they are a pretty ****ty band though. |
NP: Nuclear Assault - Handle With Care (The whole album)

Well, it's good to see that he's still around, but on MySpace? NP: Dark Angel - Merciless Death (The ultra-tr00 version off of We Have Arrived) |
NP: Machine Head - A Thousand Lies
Since you've brought up Machine Head, would you say that "Through the Ashes of Empires" is a worthy album to purchase?? |
what Kreator songs does Ventor do vocals on?
Sorry, not a fan of Machine Head so i can't comment |
 Pro-Pain are not skinheads(mentally), nor are they a white power band. They recorded a song with Ice-T **** it. You don't have to be afraid of somebody just because they have a shaved head.
With that said, they are a pretty ****ty band though.
me = overly paranoid. Well I mean, they came off as a white power band to me from my assumation. Like the saying goes, assume = making as out of you and me So I just made *** out of myself  I feel so stupid. Either way, I'm still unsure what to do, whether to go, see 2 good bands after having to wait at the front railing where the gap of security and stage are (that way I can have a good look at the bands, or save my money. Decisions...Decisions... |
He's just a whining, crying, bitching pussy who can't stand me bashing all his favorite mallcore bands.
Ravenous: Go man, you probably have nothing to worry about... *ravenous goes and gets the shit beat out of him* :upset:
Well I guess I'll be alright if I stand at the front of the venue the whole night. If I need to escape, I'll jump over the railing and run backstage XD Now that would be hilarious  |
I probably enjoy that version more than the one on Darkness Descends :thumb:
Blasphemy! :p I love the DD version of Merciless Death, its probably my favourite song. |
Blasphemy! :p
I love the DD version of Merciless Death, its probably my favourite song.
123 Ron still has the scream so great on it too. I just get the chills each time I hear that "wailing" thrash scream. I wish I could do that :upset: |
Anybody know whats going on with Get Thrashed? haven't heard anything new about it for ages.
|
^ I've constantly been checking the site, but no updates. They said sometime in 2005, so I'd figure around April-August. Now if it aired on my birthday, that would be kickass. Just gotta grab a cold one, sit back, and enjoy the show XD
Alright, well I redeemed the Napster card my mom gave to me, and well, Napster sucks for music. They have some good stuff, but the rest of it is crap. Hopefully I'll get the good stuff before 14 days are up. Although I like Napster's samples. They play mostly the entire song if they have entire track. I was listening Angel of Death (Live - Anaheim) from the Soundtrack To The Apocalypse box set, and man...Tom sounds like those girls from a horror movie when their either dying or are scared ****less. I was laughing at it...I just found it so funny. Anyways, I changed my status to The Antichrist. I got a bit bored with my old avatar, so I changed it. NP: In The Mourning - Fireball Ministry (not thrash, but ****in' sweet rock with a classic Sabbath twist) |
Since you've brought up Machine Head, would you say that "Through the Ashes of Empires" is a worthy album to purchase??
I haven't listened to it since before xmas and I can only really remember Imperium, it's not nu metal but IMO it's nowhere near the greatness of Burn My Eyes :thumb: NP: Sepultura - Altered State |
Never really saw what was so great about Machine Head, downloaded Davidian and...... meh
