i didnt like the video at all, it was like all in one. something like that.
hmm wierd im in love with it. i thought it was just a good way to sort of end the blink 182 carreer (not for sure but uno) and i dunno just so many memories

Bad Blood 11-20-2005 04:18 AM

It's an awesome video. Especially for their last song.

It shows how they've 'evolved' together, became such good friends, had a really successful career, and enjoyed all of it.

http://www.purevolume.com/blink182tributealbum pacific rige records is putting togather a trebiute album to blink... whats amamzeinly sceary is that even the 3 mp3s they have up are prity much better than the blink vershions!

Dumpweed by four year songs with the keyboreds is just nuts

going away to collage by feeling left out... is just amazeingly good, acoustic vershion they do is just fantastic

every time by sleepway is'nt really as good as the otheres but is still cool

i really can't wait to hear the rest of them hehe

Pazz 11-20-2005 06:47 PM

Dumpweed - Blink 182 > Cover

Going Away To College - Blink 182 > Cover - I like the idea of the acoustic version though.

Everytime I Look For You - Blink 182 > Cover

In my opion, the Blink version are much better.

B 11-20-2005 07:21 PM

Those covers are fucking sweet. I'd buy that album if it came out.

The Feeling Left Out one was a little lacking but still sweet. Four Years Strong's cover was awesome.

10571z 11-21-2005 12:09 AM

yeh i would buy the album as well

plaidbassbilly 11-21-2005 03:33 AM
It was on Video Hits Saturday morning at about 9;30 or so. I caught the last 20 seconds of it. I hate when that happens
That show annoys me what with the millions of ad breaks and lack of vaguely interesting videos. Everytime I watch it I see at least 3 butts. Maybe this weekend it will be scheduled for a decent hour.

yourstruly 11-21-2005 04:10 AM

Are the members of Blink all sweet now?, since they got together and wrote a new song for the greatest hits.
Not like back together but just not hating or whatever.

10571z 11-21-2005 04:18 AM

they never recorded a new song for the greastest hits... not now was recorded in 2003 and another girl another planet was recorded before the whole thing

Fire Away 11-21-2005 04:24 AM

Im hating Another Girl Another Planet right now. Loving Not Now though.

yourstruly 11-21-2005 04:43 AM
they never recorded a new song for the greastest hits... not now was recorded in 2003 and another girl another planet was recorded before the whole thing
uh ok then

hotcod32 11-21-2005 10:07 AM

i really really am loveing the dumpweed cover... i've been lissioign to a lot of poppunk synthy stuff the past few weeks and theres just somthing about the guys voice which is plainly awsome... i mean i still love the blink vershion... its just this is just as good in a strange way... and the acoustic going away to collage is somthing blinks hould have done a long time ago... i always loved that song... i just wish i had the cash to order the ablum

10571z 11-21-2005 02:56 PM
I just preordered that tribute thing.
whats the damage?

These_Green_Eyes 11-21-2005 03:10 PM

It says ten dollars. I think that's U.S. dollars too. I might get it.

yourstruly 11-21-2005 04:40 PM

I'm really not desperate enough to buy a Blink 182 tribute album.

Bad Blood 11-21-2005 04:44 PM

I don't like tribute albums. Even though, it would be quite interesting.

Untitled 11-21-2005 04:49 PM

theres a bluegrass blink182 cover album i want to buy.

These_Green_Eyes 11-21-2005 05:30 PM

I'm not desperate, I think it sounds interesting and am willing to buy it for a mere ten dollars.

B 11-21-2005 05:48 PM

Same, I honestly couldn't care less about Blink right now. The tributes just sound really good.

why-was-i-banned 11-22-2005 05:11 AM

Hey guys, i have not been on here for a while. I was talking to my mates friend from san diego today, and he reckons that blink use to play at a place called soma all the time, and he use to go watch them and stuff. But he said to me that they use to support grunge style bands and stuff, and thats why they stood out in that scene. Has anybody else heard anything like this from there earlier days.

10571z 11-22-2005 05:24 AM

yeh of course soma is a venue they use to play at only when you get 100 people in the dungen (small stage) you get to play support or headlining spots on the main stage. read tales from beneath your mom (mum for us aussies)

plaidbassbilly 11-23-2005 01:11 AM

Yeah, there's like 50 pages on Soma in Tales From Beneath Your Mom, by Anne Hoppus. It's a really good read for any Blink fan, has alot of stuff you may not have known about.
