GurS 09-21-2004 02:51 PM

meow

well, bascially i wanted to orignally do english lit with creative writing for uni.

but, well, tastes change, and i wanted to do english language with politics.

So for my as's, i chose (in school) English Lit/Lang, Music, Theatre Studies & Politics. but there was a time table clash, and I had to choose between Politics and English Lit/Lang. I chose politics, and did english lit instead.

I'm now looking to do Enlgish Language outside school.

However, I found out that the course I want to do, english language and politics, doesn't exist. At least, not in any decent uni's. So I had to choose between english and politics. So I chose politics. So I look on the UCAS site, and it turns out the only real decent course is Politics, Economics and Philosophy. Seeing, as I want to be a writer, I still want to do English Language, but now have to do Economics out of school aswell. And I'm gonna do a 1-year course called Critical Thinking.

****, I should probably do Philosophy out of school as well :(

8 AS's, me thinks :(

Untitled 09-21-2004 02:53 PM

Cya craig.

Good luck with all that gur, id die with work :)

GurS 09-21-2004 02:55 PM

I need to find colleges that do that in the evening first.

AND i have after school piano lessons, a youth movement, st john ambulence cadets (SHUT UP!), drum lessons, and I teach drums aswell.

goodbye social life for ever.

Untitled 09-21-2004 02:56 PM

I used to go Aircadets, Alll cool :thumb: Oh teach drums, i want lessons, i dont have a kit, but i have pencils.

GurS 09-21-2004 02:59 PM

it;'s good, coz while i'm not the best drummer, certainly not a professional (drummer or teacher! though i do run/teach a steel pan group at my school), i charge a tenner for the hour, which is much cheaper than other teachers, and the people that i teach geniunly improve.

So it's all good.

GurS 09-21-2004 03:00 PM

oh, btw, my e-mail is kissmyass124@hotmail.com (i was 12, ok?) feel free to add me to your msn.

Untitled 09-21-2004 03:00 PM

Cool, how easy is it to pick up the basics of drumming

I played a tiny tiny tyin bit of snare at cadets, never did out worth shouting about though.

Untitled 09-21-2004 03:01 PM

All added too :)

GurS 09-21-2004 03:03 PM

I found it extremely easy to pick up the basis of drumming - i'm entirly self taught (starting drum lessons soon, as i have reached the most i can feel i can get to by myself).

Then again, I've been playing instruments since i was 4 so i have a natural sense of rhytm

InMyPlace 09-21-2004 03:03 PM
