Well, I'm Straight Edge, but only by the skin of my teeth. I don't follow the rest of the Hardcore scene and that. Its become a bit of a bad thing to be associated with unfortunately.

I wouldn't say thin Straight Edge kids are rare, I'm just saying that there probably are a good few on the Hardcore forum, or on the 'scene'.

And I'm sure 15 litres of beer a month is a lot? Recommended 2 litres of water a day, thats 60 in a month. A lot of people, me included (not sure about you) drink less, maybe 30 a month. If thats you, then a third of your liquid intake would be beer! :)

it' pretty normal (for adults) here in bavaria to drink 0.5 litres of beer each evening to the dinner. a month has aroun 30 days so you have 15 litres. it's that easy.

I just like to understand what people's ideas of 'punk' are. I tend to go to a lot local punk shows, and nearly everyone there is dressed in thheir maximum punk gear, i.e. leather jacket/vest, studs, spikes, and patches, mohawk/other form of spiked hair. Tight pants, etc...
But a lot of them, though like that, also say stuff about not labeling themself as punk.

I've watched it like 5 times and I'm still laughing. The guitarist knocks over the drummers kit and gets a snare in the head.

It seems like they're more interested in hoisting their instruments up than playing them.

I find weakness in peoples' need to find a clique as a way to be unique. Those people are lying to themselves.

Yeah, I know what you mean. There's a difference between doing something because you feel comfortable with it and because you want people to think you're "cool" or "unique."

To be honest, if you want to be cool, there's not much worse around here than being sXe (and that abbreviation just looks like sexy to people who don't know what it means.
