It snowed last night but the rain made it go bye bye :(

GhostNote 01-24-2007 05:02 AM

I think the last time it snowed over here was like 40-50 years ago or summin. lol

TheBigMachine 01-24-2007 05:28 AM

It snowed four hours from here, 2000 years ago...but it melted.

Jezen 01-24-2007 06:11 AM

Actually a couple of years ago it snowed in Sydney, I think in the middle of summer. That's some whack as$ weather right there.

I borrowed three more DVD's from the library. Right now i'm watching the Mark Mondesir DVD. However, I wouldn't say he's the best drummer in the world..

Jezen 01-24-2007 06:19 AM

Omg he's so annoying when he talks and he keeps stopping and starting between every couple of words..

But then he started saying that he's going through speech therapy and that he used to have a stuttering problem.

ludvista29 01-24-2007 06:24 AM

Hey Jezen, sup?

Corkofski 01-24-2007 06:28 AM

so, there was 2 inches of snow, its pretty much all gone now

but the english rail system, being what it is, is completely down. we went to the station anyway, then went to the park.

pix soon
Hey Jezen, sup?
Not much man, just got sick of Mark Mondesir so I put on a DVD of Herbie Hancock, Dave Holland, Pat Metheny, and Jack DeJohnette playing together.

GhostNote 01-24-2007 06:48 AM

^^Nice! Jack DeJohnette is so aweosme!

Oh, dude that sounds sick! Jack is incredible and Dave Holland is one of my favorite bass players out there. Not a huge metheny fan, but he's alright.

Sunshine 01-24-2007 08:35 AM

All the snow's gone.

They sky is perfectly clear and blue again.

Just like the desert.

And this weekend its supposed to get up to 65 F, YAY!

I'm sick and freakin' tired of this whole..cold thing.

White 01-24-2007 09:57 AM

we have too much snow here :(

Jezen 01-24-2007 10:03 AM

No such thing as too much snow.

trysthedrummer 01-24-2007 10:47 AM

OH GOD haha!!

You know yesterday mike put up those pics of the bmw airbag and handle, and I said ''sell it on ebay you'l be rich in the end'' you never guess what. I was watchin ITV news (uk) about the wreckage, and for about 5 short seconds the camera viewed an ebay page of that very bmw airbag!!!!

Sure it was pretty much the same picture.

maniac0796 01-24-2007 11:25 AM

I ain't sold mine yet.... Gonna wait a month.

Electric Requiem 01-24-2007 11:55 AM

I'm going to jam with my guitarist and a new bass player in a couple hours. The old one tore a tendon off his knuckle, then had it reattached then tore it off again and needs the surgery again.
So hopefully we can actually have a full band that can play some songs by the end of the year.

Win A Rabbit 01-24-2007 12:06 PM

I'm going to go get a credit card today.

It's just for ordering things off the internet, but I'm scared I'll start using it regularly. I'll just have to watch myself.

:(

Pleaseme 01-24-2007 12:11 PM

Hey BB,
That clip of Gavin Harrison playing that insane something-tuplet fill/groove, what album was the song from? Been trying to find it everywhere but no shop seems to stock much Porcupine Tree, the slags.

FL3P 01-24-2007 12:11 PM

Credit cards are dangerous. You always say that you won't use it too much and pay the balance every month but before you know it you're out of control. You do have to be very discipline with them.

I can't remember. Lightbulb Sun re-release perhaps?

Pleaseme 01-24-2007 12:22 PM

Hm. This is annoying me a lot now because all the music stores around here seem incapable of stocking good music.

Debit cards are better.

FL3P 01-24-2007 12:30 PM

Yes they are although they are becoming easy to use online too.
