First time I failed because I palmed the steering wheel after turning a corner whilst changing gears. I do it all the time now though, makes everything smoother.

Do you have to do any more supervised driving? Here in Aus you have to complete another 25 hours of supervised driving, and then take a Hazard Perception computer test. They were even talking about boosting the 25 hours to 100, which is plain ridiculous.

Man, I just bought an awesome cymbal today. It is a cymbal by Amedia, one of the Istanbul cymbal makers. The shop I went to happened to be the only US retailer of Amedia, so you can't get em anywhere else in the states. It was a Shaban Classic 18". Looks really nice, with the vintage logo (i.e. none except the stamp), sounds dark and beautiful, and only cost me $187 brand new!

These pics don't do it justice. The white stuff on the bell is the remains of the sticker price :P

For those who havn't Heard yet, I am going to tell ya just cause i'm really excited about it haha

Yea well I was talking to the owner of Epiarch Custom Drums, nice guy, and I asked him "hey what would you say about sponsering me??? you guys do need the help when it comes to my area (the maritimes) I went to about 12 different big time music stores, and only 3 people had heard of you", and I went on telling him about how i could help them, so he said, well you're right, we are trying to become a bigger name in canada, so I'll tell you what, if you're serious about buying a kit from us I'll give ya 25% off if you help promote us, and I said "so I technically am sponsered??" and he said "yes but it's a minor sponsor.

So yea, I got almost 500$ knocked off the price of my new Kit instead of 1880 American, I'm getting it for 1400, and that's about 1780 in my currency (CAN) so yea, once I sell the Mapex and save alittle cash, I'm getting myself a new custom kit, talked it over with my parents and all, so it's a sure deal, now I'm calling up a music store tommorrow to see how much they will give me for it (this place does pay very good from what I hear, so we'll see)

But darn i am soooo excited lol, I FINALLY got my finish picked out today, I'm going with a White to Black Burst, well I THINK I may do that. OR a White (with Crome Hardware on the White half) to black Fade (With Black hardware on the Black Side) this way the hardware also fades aswell.

Any other finish ideas?? something that can say Prog Meta/Rock, but yet still give off a Christian Rock Vibe aswell?
