Yea, thats the video from the recent Tommy/Quadrophenia live release. Amazing stuff.
Yes, seeing him in 5:15 makes me respect him more and more |
I'll have to check that out, Entwistle is a god.
I think Gilmour kinda sucks... ......o shi I cant wait for "On an Island" |
i love entwistle. that was pretty good solo. im disheartened that so many posters in the bass forum didnt know what he was capable of.

Yeah, I'll be counting the days until On and Island. |
Could someone post a link to the Entwistle clip? I'm too lazy to go rummaging through the bass forum.
Krabsworth - Thanks a bunch for Wheels of Fire, It's a pretty good album. |
it's not rummaging through. its on the second page and its called something like "entwistle typewriter style".

If Not For You is officially my new favorite Dylan song. I can't even describe how awesome it is.

I think one of Robo's favorite George Harrison songs is If Not For You. Heh, heh. The question is, which version do you prefer? |

 It is an awesome song. I'd say I prefer George's version but both are great. Tough choice. New Morning is an underrated album. Pretty good stuff. np- Born Under A Bad Sign Is it just me, or is last.fm not tracking other people's songs too? |

I've never heard the Harrison version, so I'll go with Dylan's for now. |

I actually didn't know it was a Dylan song 'till now. I really haven't heard enough Dylan. Anyone want to, umm, "borrow" me some? (BigTrav415@gmail.com) NP: St. Stephen (live) - Grateful Dead |
I'll upload Nashville Skyline today. It's one of my favorite Dylan albums.
|
Where's my Blue Train! :(
NP: Phil Lesh & Friends-Big River (live)...ah, currently reliving a great show :) |
I've just sent out the first song on Closing Of Winterland to everyone who gave their e-mail addresses; if you want to get the whole show, reply, but just know it might take me a while to upload it all.

It's so short though:( Can't be more than 25-30 minutes long. Still good though. I love his singing on that, it's so different. Dylan goes country. I'll upload Blonde On Blonde. When I click the YSI link, it sends me back to my yahoo mail account, not to the download page, if that makes any sense. |

For my link or Nashville Skyline? |
My favorite Dylan albums are tied between "The Times They Are A-Changing", "Bringing It All Back Home", and "The Freewheelin' Bob". That's pretty vague, but I'm sure I'll be able to pick out a favorite after listening to them more. Actually, I don't really like any of his stuff after B.O.B.

It's a 30 meg file. |

What about Blood On The Tracks? That came out in 1975, and I think that's a pretty solid album, especially "Tangled Up In Blue." I do agree, Freewheelin' is probably my favorite too. |
I didn't really like Blood On The Tracks when I listened to it :/
Who knows? Maybe I should try it again. |
Tangled Up In Blue is probably my favorite Dylan song.
I just bought: ELP - Pictures at an Exhibition Gentle Giant - Free Hand King Crimson - Discipline /Prog'd |
Actually, I don't really like any of his stuff after B.O.B.
Hmm, Blonde On Blonde... B.O.B... Bob Dylan... A sign? Probably not. Last post in CR was thirty minutes ago  NP: Big River (live) - Grateful Dead |
Tangled Up In Blue is probably my favorite Dylan song.
I just bought: ELP - Pictures at an Exhibition Gentle Giant - Free Hand King Crimson - Discipline /Prog'd
The last of those is seriously awesome. Dunno about the other two. |
Pictures at an Exhibiton is impressive like the other early ELP material. Gentle Giant I haven't listened to yet, but it should be interesting.
|
Does anyone like Roxy Music? They're kinda glam/prog stuff from the '70s. Brian Eno was one of the members.
|

There early stuff is great, I didn't know that was one of them. ELP are awesome. Np: Eruption (the ELP song, not Van Halen.) |
The Tarkus Medley is absolutely amazing.
|
The Tarkus Medley is absolutely amazing.
That it is, that it is. At times I prefer Tarkus to Brain Salad Sugery, but overall I'd say the latter is the best (if only for Karn Evil 9) |
Especially Eruption and Aquatarkus, Palmer has me completely lost on the drumming.
I still need to get Trilogy for their early albums, then I'm thinking about getting Welcome Back My Friends...., the live album. |
