I think I am the only person to actually watch Rock Star and liked the show, from what I remember. JD Fortune is an asshole though. But Pretty Vegas is a good song. I really don't care for INXS's old work.

Rock Star was an awesome show, I loved it, some great singers, great performances, even though JD Fortune or whatever the hell his name is was a jackass egoman.

I hate two things about music.

a) How some people think if you're a "rocker", you have to hate rap. Why not like both?
b) People will say an entire genre sucks after hearing a few crappy examples, i.e. Fiddy Cent

I just had one hell of a new years! After a year of being ripped off I have finally found some d-lysergic acid diethylamide, I was peeking on it when the year crossed over. The smoke was so thick when it covered the streets you couldn't see 5 feet in front of your face and all the fireworks...very fun tripping setting. :D

About Roy Haper: Yes, I used to talk about him all the time and [I]Stormcock [/I]was my favorite Folk album, it just seemed asthough nobody really cared when I brought him up so I eventually just gave up on him as a topic.

Yea, there are a few good songs on them but mostly crap. Although John speaks highly of some early Pete Townshend solo albums, so I might check those out.

I've seen really good reviews for Entwistle's solo debut, which I'd be really interested in hearing. Probably really hard to find though. I'm pretty sure Daltrey's solo career was awful.

I picked up the Ox Anthology (a 2-disc John Entwislte compilation), and it's pretty good stuff.

It's all Entwislte's own material, although it includes some Who songs like Whiskey Man, Heaven and Hell, the Real Me, and Success Story. They are his own solo versions though, they aren't the actual Who songs.

Supposedly Entwhistle had a pretty good carreer, which is believable since he was the only other songwriter in the Who. He was a classic case of a good songwriter stuck in a band with a fantastic one.

He was a good songwriter, but he was paired next to Pete, who was a legend. It's kind of like George Harrison and Lennon/McCartney.
