Same problem I have - I just swing hard at everything which has a habit of going wrong from time to time.


When it works it produces nice results though.


And I suck at bowling - I don't have the power for fast bowling, or the technique for spin. So I stick to medium, and don't even do that too well.

Well, if you look at my arms and upper body i dont have the strenght for quick so i dunno how i got away with it.

Ive spoke to a few off-spinners and they can do it easy, but i cant for crap, apparently Leg is a lot harder, but i can do it fine hmm.

I hope the Uni i go have a cricket team

They should do... Mine had a team for just about every sport imaginable. The best ones were the women's teams for traditionally male-played sports. They are all so bad! I remember the ladies' cricket team only having about 2 people who could bowl overarm.


I wish the men's teams were of such a low standard... I hated the fact that I couldn't get into the uni football team because there were so many really good players in my position already.

I like playing cricket. I always tend to try and slog it, though, so I get caught out quite a lot.

I'm watching Jurassic Park on itv2 now. I've never seen it before, it's pretty good.

yeah, leg spin is a lot harder than off spin as leg spin involves the wrist consequantly
causing inaccuracy.

I think ive got into the technique of leg. I hold the ball for off, and my wrist ends up flicking too. I have pretty good wrist strength though, so am alright.
