But so are Broncos fans. Even though they don't have as much reason to :)

Too bad we lost Elway :(
no joke dude, but im glad he won his superbowl after so many trys and horrible losses.

then he went back one more time and did it again

faith and fiction 01-23-2006 09:49 PM
I guess that's true, but a lot of these bowl games are a joke. I mean, there are really only three or four bowls anyone really cares about, if that.

College basketball is amazing. So much better than the NBA.
Yeah, I think the main 2 people watch are the Rose Bowl and the Orange Bowl, I'll openly admit the only other I watch is the Cotton Bowl.

PDWAB 01-23-2006 09:50 PM

The Husky Marching Band is really good, so I don't I would mind. Also I'm going to try to play cymbals so that shouldn't be so bad, except for maybe the non-stop dancing.

hell yea

NCAA football needs to lose the BCS bowls and have playoffs because more than half the teams play in bowl games now, but on the other hand, thats how most of the programs get funded

MARCH MADNESS BABY!

faith and fiction 01-23-2006 09:52 PM

No offense to true Colorado fans, but Colorado seems to be the bandwagon state for the NFL and NHL. Ever since say..1998 people have latched onto the Broncos even though they're from Dallas or LA or whatever other state. Then once the Avalanche took the Cup everyone seemed to do the same with them. A bit annoying, but whatever, it happens. At least no one's hanging off the Nuggets' balls...haha.

PDWAB 01-23-2006 09:52 PM

Oh ho, college basketball? Guess who goes to a college with an awesome basketball team?

Except we LOST TO WSU OH GOD WTF

One of the best time's of the whole year.

I went to the number 1 best swimming school in the country if anyone thinks that's interesting or cool...cause I do.

Mute Print 01-23-2006 09:53 PM

Nothing good comes from my school.

faith and fiction 01-23-2006 09:54 PM

My current school doesn't produce much. The football team is above par but that's about it.

Mute Print 01-23-2006 09:54 PM

We have a good lacrosse team, and a good field hockey team. That's about the extent of it.

All the major sports in my school (Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey) suck.

my family's been with the broncos since the 70s. its inherited. and who says you have to like the team from your state? i hate the cowboys because i dont like how they run their program.

Last year we were actually alright. This year we suck though. Which is why I'm glad I'm not in it.

Last year our show was patriotic and was cool. We were 2 spots from being in the finals to go to state. This year, all the freshmen suck and are lazier than we were. Which is pretty bad.

I played tenor sax. It was ok. Lunging across the field is no bueno though.

faith and fiction 01-23-2006 09:55 PM

Oh which reminds me, I found a water polo club not too far from me. I'm gonna go this week to sign up for it.

We were hoping.

Eh, with the Avs, to be fair, they took the cup after only existing a few years as is heh. And I'm still a die-hard Avs fan despite this disappointing season. :-\

Nuggets are head of their division right now though, so you never know.

I hate bandwagon fans. Around here, there are so many bandwagon Yankees fans. It's an epidemic.

faith and fiction 01-23-2006 10:00 PM

Don't get me started on the MLB...I think this series proved that no one in America cares about baseball unless the Yankees or Red Sox have something to do with it.

And the Mavs are doing pretty well this season, I'm excited to see what happens with that.

Permanent Solution 01-23-2006 10:01 PM

Later Andy.

Yankees are the bandwagon team. My comp sci professor last year literally brought them up in every class. It was annoying. Poor Diamondbacks :-\

You should have reminded him of 2001 when the D-Backs beat the Yanks in the World Series.

Nice. All of those bands sound pretty sweet.

I have the rest of the week off for exams. I only have to go in Thursday for chem. Then I'm seeing Whole Wheat Bread on Saturday.

Permanent Solution 01-23-2006 10:14 PM

WWB was a lot of fun live. I'd like to see em again.

Mute Print 01-23-2006 10:15 PM

They're great live. I loved them when I saw them with C22 and AWS.

Permanent Solution 01-23-2006 10:24 PM

Much as I love C22 and AWS...seeing WWB open for SM was probably a better show :p SM's show was probably the best show I've ever been to.

I want to see Streetlight Manifesto so bad. Such a great band.

Yes. Totally awesome, and even more amazing live.

Andy: I read about that. Second to (Wilt Chamberlain's?) 100 points in one game. Insane.

Mute Print 01-23-2006 10:31 PM

Yeah, that's insane. Kobe's a ballhog though.

yeah. closest to that i think was one of Bryants other games where he had 70 something.

then it was my man David Robinson (raised in san antonio, so i gotta love my spurs!) with 71 points back a few years ago

he's allowed to be if the Laker's keep winning because of it

Yeah...I suck at basketball.

But those are amazing stats. Ballhog or not.
