I like Marlon Brando.
So does Neil Young. |
I haven't seen him in anything pre-Godfather, I don't think. I should probably put On the Waterfront and A Street Car Named Desire on my Netflix queue though.
do it right away. he was such an amazing actor in his heyday. not saying he wasnt in the godfather but he mostly showed it in his actions. with those two you get to see him really ACT. and do it well too. |
Yea, I generally can't stand Bruce Springsteen.
On a completely unrelated note, Apocalypse Now may be my favorite movie of all time, top 5 easy. *looks at avatar*
Apocalypse Now is fu'cking awesome. The part with The End sent shivers down my spine.
Oh goodness I'm the only person who DOES like Bruce Springsteen
I'm a fan. |
Oh goodness I'm the only person who DOES like Bruce Springsteen
Nah, EMH and Med like him both I'm pretty sure. Or maybe its Robo? I like him also.
bleh. i dislike bruce springsteen. i also HATE it when people call him the boss casually. "what's wrong with the boss?" "you dont like the boss? i love the boss." "what am i doing? just listening to the boss."
That made me laugh pretty hard, because it is so true. |
Then it's settled. We'll draw a line down the center of the thread, Springsteen fans on one side, and non fans on the other..:p
I really didn't think this through... |
If any one feels like getting banned they should start and/or post in a Springsteen bashing thread.
|
ha. i'd post in it. but i dont make threads. it aint my thing.
|
If I didnt have a spotless record I would make the thread. Wheres RNR when you need him?
|
ha. i'd post in it. but i dont make threads. it aint my thing.
Keith Richards is like number 1 for sure :p EDIT: Oh, its not your list. Why'd he got and make a thread about you? |
Because I said his threads that he makes suck.
I didn't make that list fool. |
i made one in the bass forum and it sank with like 4 replies.
note to self: dont make threads on obscure jazz/fusion bassists. |
You know who's really awesome? James Brown.
|
I think I've made 4 threads..two of them did fairly well as I recall.

That is actualy what he said and it just makes me want to slice my right arm off just to get a copy. If anybody has this I'd amazingly thrilled if you'd upload it. :) If you do have it what are your thoughts on it? Edit:
For some reason I have an urge to hear Schyma's opinion on Springsteen. He always finds new and exciting ways to say that he hates someone (assuming he hates him).
Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. My opinion on Springsteen remains unclear at the moment. I don't believe I've heard enough to really judge him as a whole yet. |
I love Bruce Springsteen. Med, me, and I think Jac are the huge Springsteen fans around here. Never knew Illmatic was a fan, good news. Everyone else here seems to really despise him though. In general, most people seem to love or hate him, not many in the middle.
Illmatic, I just noticed your usertitle, could you upload some Otis Redding? I've heard a few songs that I really like and I need to hear some more. I've made a few threads in the sports forum. Most of them suck but my brilliant MLB offseason thread has gotten a bunch of replies. I've never attempted to make a thread in R/M. |
Do you have:
'I Love You More Than Words Can Say' '(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay' Both are by Otis Redding, i'll upload them for you if you don't already have them. |

I don't like Springsteen.
JPJ, cool avatar. Bout to go to Best Buy with the last gift cards, I'll update if I get anything good. |
i'll try to upload the atlanta pop festival today.
edit: anyone else like roy harper? he's really good. edit2: you guys are gonna hate me. its 344 mb's. ha. |
JPJ, cool avatar.
Thank ye :)
edit: anyone else like roy harper? he's really good.
A long time ago Schyma use to talk about him all the time than just stopped all the sudden. |
Last night, I was flippin' through channels and I saw Robert Randolph on ABC Family. I was like WTF.
Apparently it was a music video for "Going In The Right Direction". It just struck me as odd. np: Tourniquet - Drawn and Quartered Good song. |
I love classic rock, it's basically the only music I listen to. I listen to some 80s and early 90s rock (Guns 'N' Roses, Violent Femmes) but mostly classic rock. My favorite band is Pink Floyd. I listen to them almost non-stop. I also like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Joe Walsh, Black Sabbath, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, and alot more.
I'm 15 years old, btw. |
Heh, I like that one popular Violent Femmes song, "Blister In The Sun".
|
I have The Violent Femmes s/t (the album that song is on) it's really good. Some great bass playing.
