have you got your cd player on? make sure it is on AUX

are all the leads etc plugged in firmly? thats the only thing i can think of. either that, or your speakers are bust

are the connections made the right way around? if some are backwards it may not work.

show me a pic of the player, if its the same as mine i may be of more help
