It'll probably wear off if I get something to eat and shower.
I should do that, since I have class soon. Take care, everyone. |
See you Jim. And Ali, with great intellect comes great pain.

Well, you would say that.

I see. How dare you judge me so?
|
How dare you question my right to judge.

Hmmm... I believe that this thread has sunk.
|
Sunk like the Spanish Armada.
|
I don't believe this. The god **** site still won't let me change back to the old skin.
|
Why not? Are we talking about MX? Which skin are you currently browsing in?
|
Yeah, we're talking about MX.
It switched to the new one last night that highlights thing in orange and got rid of the "Last Post" column. It sucks. I want to get rid of it. But the site refuses to recognize the change when I order it to use a different skin. |

Character Biography: Name: Jason “Jay” Green Age: 34 Gender: Male D.O.B.: November 19th 1971 Birthplace: 14 Holly Street, Dalston, Hackney, E8 Jason “Jay” Green was born to in the Dalston area of Hackney, East London, and lived there until the age of 12. He was the first born of his parents, and his father left him and his mother shortly after his birth. His mother had four other children, all boys, and all with different men. Having constantly skived off school when he was younger, Jay had a very limited education – he had rudimentary reading, writing and counting skills. Despite being considered quite bright, Jay had no interest in the education process, and spent a majority of his time shop lifting when he was meant to be in school. Being brought up in a poor household, he had to find entertainment where he could, and turned to the local urban music scene to keep him amused, in particular street-dancing. He soon discovered he had a natural talent in this area, and was encouraged by his mother to nurture this skill. By the time he was 10, he had stopped going to school and spent most of his time working on his dancing. He tried his hardest to avoid getting mixed up with the gang culture that was rife around him, in which he was successful. At the age of 12, he received a scholarship to go to a drama and dance school in the Midlands region of England, where he started to get into acting as well. It was here that Jay met Cate Walker, who was his girlfriend for a majority of the time at the school. Despite gaining a scholarship to this prestigious dance school, Jay soon became restless and bored, as the dancing was ballet and not the street-dancing he excelled at. He went for many different street-dancing auditions, but after constantly being passed over for others, he sank into a depression, and, towards the end of his time at the school, turned to cocaine. Once having graduated from the school, Jay attempted more auditions, both in street-dancing and acting, but receive no offers. After failing to make it as a dancer or actor, Jay went back to East London, to his family, severing all ties with Cate Walker. Upon his arrival he found his family in shambles – his mother had become an alcoholic, two of his siblings had been killed in gang warfare, and the other two were also heavily ingrained in gang culture. Jay continued with his addiction, and was arrested for possession of cocaine. Luckily, he was sentenced to only 30 days in jail, under the condition that he enters a drug rehabilitation program. Through this program, Jay finally managed to conquer his addiction. Having seen that there was nothing there for him in London, Jay returned to the Midlands. Jay still lives there, and is currently seeking work as an actor. Rather then rent a place of his own, Jay tends to leech of various girlfriends, living at their house or flat, not contributing the rent or bills any fashion, until the girl gets tired of him and kicks him out. At the start of the play, Jay has been kicked out by another girlfriend two days previously. He spent the previous night sleeping on park bench and is about to enter another audition for a play. |
