I don't think I could cope without channel 5. I like my CSI:NY on tuesdees

We never had C5 before, we had a new aerial put in and some stuff, and now its as clear as any other channel.

Patrick O))) 12-13-2006 01:51 PM
The concert was great but WAY too much guitar for me. Four and a half hours of shred guitar and only 45 minutes of Mike left me feeling a little 'over-it' by the end. Thanks to Mikes VIP tickets, I also got meet Steve Vai, but by the time the show was over, Mike was back on a plane flying home to continue with the new DT album, which he tells me is 'heavy' so far (yippee!)
This message is too short, blah blah blah...

I did glass blowing/moulding today. It was fun.

I didnt get to blow the glass, but i did make a really long ice icicle type thing out of molton glass, it was fun, but the furnace burns at 750 degrees C, and stood right next to it, means you get burnt, luckily i didn't to bad, a slight redness on my arms, nothing major/ you can see without me pointing it out.

trysthedrummer 12-13-2006 02:09 PM

Can you blow even more so the hot glass goes everywhere like in peoples faces and stuff
Can you blow even more so the hot glass goes everywhere like in peoples faces and stuff
Nah, if you blow it too much it just collapses.

Lol, the technician was saying "never break solid glass towards your face, itll splinter and may go in your eye" so then he demonstrated, but as he was stood infront of us, he ended up snaping it into some lasses face, poor sod.

trysthedrummer 12-13-2006 02:21 PM

Aye I was just being silly.

Why would you even want to demonstrate breaking solid glass towards your face.

mornin'

just!
I've got curly dreads today :( they got wet yesterday when my umbrella snapped :(

sup?

Kif 12-14-2006 05:25 AM

I finished my assignment at about 2:30AM. I'm quite happy with it actually, which is surprising. I could do with a bit of work on one section, I'm going into uni in like an hour so I suppose it's not too bad.

Kif 12-14-2006 08:44 AM

Handed it in now. I checked my timetable to see if there was a lecture today, since last week's lecture was just a Q&A about the new assignment, and there's nothing there so I don't know what to do.

Buying Darkplace didn't help either, since I anxiously want to watch it.

GurS 12-14-2006 09:40 AM

Sup ya'll?

/passes driving test

Untitled 12-14-2006 11:21 AM

Today, i sat in class, and thats it, didnt realy do much. I just literaly sat there watching my mate painting.

2muchket! 12-14-2006 11:41 AM

Tomorrow is gonna be so easy. I only have one lesson and were watching a video in that :D.

Patrick O))) 12-14-2006 11:52 AM

Hey guys

I feel even worse today :( but I'm smacked off my tits on painkillers atm so I feel more myself

PLUS ... I took a chance on a Buckethead cd I saw on the system at work under 'Jazz'. Hello? I thought. I ordered it, it now in pc.

And it's pretty damn good  tis acoustic with a couple of guys called Something Helborg and Mike Shrieve, who Pa tells me played with John McLaughlin and Santana during his jazz phase respectively

'sup guys?

Kif 12-14-2006 12:09 PM

Haha so in platforms we did a case study on the PS3. It was fun, we watched a video on Google Video like one of the PC/Mac ads, except it was for the PS3/Wii, then pretty much just looked inside the PS3.

I bought my dad a HMV voucher for £50 for his birthday and Christmas (His birthday is the 18th), I'm meeting him next week for a drink. It will be awkward as always, but oh well.

Patrick O))) 12-14-2006 12:12 PM

:( why so?

Kif 12-14-2006 12:18 PM
:( why so?
Me and my dad don't talk much. We haven't done ever since he re-married actually. The last time I spoke to him was in August when we met for a drink for my birthday.
