hey guys.
Anyone wanna tell me why pinch harmonics are freakishly hard for me to play?
I can only do them on guitar.
I don't play guitar, and I'm a pretty average pick player anyway... I just want to be able to do it. Tell me, do you hit it with your index finger then pick, or pick then thumb?
I use my thumb and pick at the same time.
Whoops, double posted....
Double posts are fun...
Hmm, I thought there had to be like a mili-second of a pause inbetween... |
How do you pinch harmonic with fingers? :amaze: I've never attempted. :thumb: -Gav |
Well there probably is. I don't know the whole technique I just kind of do it.
I'm using a pick...for fun. I think with your fingers it would be more of an actual pick and twist, but I can't even do it the traditional way, so that's probably wrong.
I'm trying on the octaves on my 8 string now. |
Whats up guys? It's 5am in the morning here, and I'll leave in 20 mins to go a week skiing :) It's frikkin early!!
^ Where do you live? England?
Have fun skiing! :) :thumb: -Gav |
is it possible to run a seperate head into a combo amp and bypass the preamp/head in the combo and make it a 'halfstack'. ?
Like, plug a head into a regular amp with that special three-pronged chord?
:thumb: -Gav |
oh. i was just wondering, well my guitarist is. if theres a way he can run a head into a combo/ and use that speaker.
hes not from england. Its only 4:15 am here!
you would need to check the combo. On my behringer bx1200, theres a normal cable that goes from the cab to the head so i could use the cab for a head
nawh like, he wants to get a head, and use the speaker in the combo he has now.
its a marshall mgfx100. |
^ mgfx100 or mgdfx100?
:thumb: -Gav |
Who wants to help me find a new bass?! 1,300$ tops....Yeah buddy, I'm going BIG! 4 strings, as usual.

/Point taken.....
I've been leaning towards the American Fender Deluxe P, one of those Ibanez SRX's, a custom Stambaugh, a custom Winters, or a Warwick.
good. its so sexy.
ummmm maybe a used flea? i dnno how american prices are. what are you looking at? |
I've never played a Flea, maybe I should try out my friend's brother's.....
screw warwick.
i like the deluxe p, but its a fender. out of those choices, get the custom winters. i mean, it would be YOUR bass. with exactyl waht you want. you could probably get a real good one for 1300 too. |
Well, if I go custom, it's either Winters or Stambaugh.... I still don't know what I really want.
