I need the get those fawkin new heads. I've had my coated emps for over 2 years now....I dont remember what my drums sound like with heads that actualy sound good anymore.

My mission next week is to get clear emps over clear amps for toms, cs for snare and mabey a new bass reso head.

How often should I change my bass batter? And how do I know when to change the head? I've had my ps3 for a while now....mabey a year or so?

Change the bass batter when it no longer sounds good or no longer has any attack in it

I was at the driving range today and I exploded the head of my driver.
Good thing I'm getting new clubs soon.

I played a church gig last night.
Two songs with sticks [heavy funk and an 80s ballad with a quick pace] and two with brushes [one hymn with traditional brushwork and cymbal swells and another which started in 6/8 with swing and moved into 5 for the bridge [I went to 5 while my brother stayed in 6] and then 4/4 with a disco-shuffle feel for the last chorus and outro]. Was great to dig into some different styles and just play live again.
