whhhhhaa.... why? I thought you didnt like women? ;)

Leprechauns1021 10-03-2006 11:06 PM

I'm an attention whore

Sunshine 10-03-2006 11:15 PM

Drum lessons were lovely, but my instructor left his boombox in my garage. So now I have to carry it around school tomorrow. Damn.

On another note, I have an 8-page [double spaced though, so really just 4] rough draft to type, and I'm still wasting time on myspace/MX.

Its going to be a very, very rough draft indeed.

WyrmDL 10-03-2006 11:28 PM

i find it difficult to do homework on a pc; just too many distractions. writing it is already distracting enough.

i cant do work when im tired, but thats usually when i get to it.
On a setup like yours with 3/4 racks, it makes sense. But for one of those 1 up/1 down setups; stupid.
Yeah for sure, although whenever I use a 1/ 2 up and offset setup, its always still a bit higher then average, but not like the emo drummers have it.

Josiah 10-04-2006 12:01 AM

I enjoy a good rack, regaurdless of the size.

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 12:04 AM

very original. :p

Seafroggys 10-04-2006 12:14 AM

B to D for me :thumb:

Josiah 10-04-2006 12:16 AM

2 up top and 2 down below if you know what I mean...

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 12:18 AM

i say A to C.

Josiah 10-04-2006 12:29 AM

I really like it when the ones up top bounce around, not so much on the ones below though, way harsh on the suspension mounting.

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 12:35 AM

yeah, a good rack should diffently have some bounce to it, unlike those hard stiff *** plastic racks.

???

Seafroggys 10-04-2006 12:44 AM

mmmm, bouncing racks. So hot!

But you gotta have at least B for that

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 12:52 AM

true. but once you get past c, the bounce is just too much. i mean seriously, stuff is bouncing all over the place and your life is really on the line. you never know where those things are gonna to bounce next.

with a b or c rack, everything stays in place where you want/need it.

Josiah 10-04-2006 12:55 AM

Accuracy can become problematic with too much movement

Seafroggys 10-04-2006 01:01 AM

but if you want to screw the rack, you gotta have at least C.

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 01:10 AM

sure it's fun, but accuracy is more important during a performance.

White Riot! 10-04-2006 01:18 AM

you just practice , practice , practice and the difference is negligable

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 01:19 AM

i disagree

Futuro 10-04-2006 01:21 AM
Are you working on anything musically outside of Tool?

Yeah, I’ve got a project going on with [Robert] Fripp, and another one with Terry Bozzio and Buzz Osborne. We haven’t really worked out a name yet, but we’ve got about 10 would-be songs. The stuff with Fripp is already recorded; we’ve just got to go back in and fine-tune it when both of us have a moment. I actually ran into him at the airport when I flew home to work on the “Vicarious” video, and then on the way back I ran into Richard Simmons and got my picture taken with him.

Did he know who you were?

No, but he said he would go get our record. And he liked the band name.

Go figure.

[Laughs] Yeah. When I got home, I called Buzz and told him I ran into Richard Simmons. He asked me what it was like, and I go, “He’s really nice and really gay.” And Buzz goes, “He’s gay?”
^________________^ Adam jones + Robert fripp = pissed my pants

Corkofski 10-04-2006 01:26 AM

you guys are so narrow-minded
you should be able to perform, regardless of the equipment...

LoneStarDrummer 10-04-2006 01:31 AM

i never said i couldn't, i just wouldn't.

why choose the old rotten fruit when there's fresh fruit ripe for the pickin' just waiten for someone to take.

you've got to have standards in life. and mine are set rather high.

Seafroggys 10-04-2006 01:35 AM

well as Jos says, you play better on better gear!

Futuro 10-04-2006 01:39 AM

TBH you guys r fags. I just said Adam jones from tool and Robert Fripp from King crimson are doing a project and you guys are still talking about racks.

At least about something intresting, like bewbs.
