Should've won it >:-/
It's the drummer's band, he's called Seb Roachford and he's superb. Also really softly spoken, all quiet :) ace hair. And one of the tenor sax players looked like Gomez Addams  half of Polar Bear are in his band called Acoustic Ladyland, who're also pretty good |
I bought a new bass today :D

Foad
'sup thread? Big hand-in day today. Not exactly going swimmingly; I've left a couple of reports that need to be included back at my house, which is a pain. Other than that, I'm in the Edward Boyle library of Leeds University, waiting for printer credits to go through =] |
this thread is like permanently dead now :-/
this makes me sad :upset: christmas soon - this makes me less sad. |
Mx has been dying a painful death for a looooonnnnnngggggg while.Whats the chances of Jeremy deleting it or getting rid and totally focusing on sputnik. I can see this forum not being around in 3 years.
|
To true.
Noone can be arsed nay more i think. |
If it weren't for this thread and the Football thread I'd stop posting. I think Jerermy will cut his losses eventually and shut this forum down. I imagine it muse cost a fair bit to maintain the servers and what not. Not too mention the mongoloids who hack, although that does seem to have stopped now.
|
Im doing work, Im researching Hussein Chalayan, hes a cool fashion designer he is.
|
This site probably does cost a bit to run, but the adverts will more than cover the cost, plus Jeremy doesnt have to do that much on here, only when dickless people hack it or there is a vBulletin update

Woah, so I bought Rock Sound today, and it has the Hot 100 for next year, and my friend's band is on the list! He was in my music tech class, and there's a picture of them, and I was like "OMG IT'S WILL!!"
They had their single played on Radio 1 too. /is jealous |

I saw them 4 years ago :p But yeah, the are still an awesome band, but I prefer their older stuff. |
Recently got some of their b-sides adn can honestly say even their b-sides are far FAR better than any band's A grade material.
£30 down £45 down to see muse @ Wembley ;) |

I think Origin of Symmetry is a pretty good album but I find the others seem to be getting more and more mediocre to me on each listen. edit: I only paid £16.50 to see them :p |
OoS is the best album released in the 21st century IMO.

My friends let me listen to OoS and asked if I wanted to see them at Doncaster, so I was like "Sure, why not?". And I agree about the albums, although I like Showbiz a lot too. |
I've always thought that Showbiz was their worst. It's the only Muse album I can think of where the Radiohead comparisons are relevant (not that Radiohead are bad, imitating them is though).

^ I agree. Showbiz has some amazing songs but at that point they were just called 'the next radiohead'. Not until OoS did they really show they were one of the best bands this country has ever produced.
