What's everyone's dream car? If money was no object, no worrying about running costs etc...
I'm sure if I really took the time I could find a classic car which I would want more. Though off the top of my head: Ferrari 612 Scaglietti |
Hey Roy. How's the wife?
good, everything is good. looking to move soon from jacksonville to back up north east in pennsylvania. i am so sick of this heat it drives me nuts! :upset: |
Talking about heat, it sucks in Houston right now. What parts of Pennsylvania by the way? My mother grew up around Pittsburgh in the North Apollo area. Really nice area.
|
How about you fuck off with your heat. I can barely get the clothes dry on the line outside.

if i remember right we are going to be living in this little town on the northeast side of pennslyvania. i wouldn't mind the heat except it gives me migraines that last for like 10 hours and shi. |
I'm thinking if we provoke roy enough he'll spazz out again.

Aston Martion DB9 Vantage. |
I do not dream about cars. Cars are for driving when there isn't a train.
My dream train is on time, has lots of seats, and instead of a quiet coach has a loud coach where children and people listening to music on their phones have to sit. |
maybe I was a bit too conservative with my dream car choice. I do really want a VW transporter though.
Btw, have any of you ever sold a guitar amp over ebay? |

If you're selling anything as big as an amp on eBay I would offer postage but stress that you would prefer it if the person came to pick it up.

SBT, splitties > bay window :P
Cheers AG. The thing is though, I don't know how to calculate courier costs. I've been on UPS but obviously it goes off the location of where it's being posted, something I won't know until I have a buyer. So how do I calculate the cost of a courier? At the moment, it's set to collect only, which I know will put some people off, I might live miles away from them. I don't actually mind using a courier service, but as you said, it'd be much better for them to pick it up. |
Looks-wise, yes, the splitties are just orgasmic, especially the two-tone front V, but the downsides are huge; parts are rare as balls, engine is underpowered, interior is much less comfortable, don't come with roof sleeper compartments (technically they are aftermarket mods but they're only ever on bays), and so on.

americans just dont understand cars
|
or fuel prices!
or over exuberant engine sizes! or the old cliché; corners |
Half these cars are missing door handles
|
I always find it quite amusing how someone like Ford have like a monstrous 4.6 litre V8 and only get 315bhp, and then Mitsubishi take a 4 cylinder, 2.0 litre engine and crank nearly 400 bhp out of it.
|
engines are engines, there is some mad engines over there in the us of a... cost an unbelievably fotune to get on the road here
ill prob have to get a new car next week, i can go thru insurance and get maybe the cost of my current car, prob just under 1k or go privatly with the other driver and get abotu 1500 maybe + trade in of my damaged car/scrapage... not sure what to do gota go the doc and check out im all good tomo too, shud be ok |

I hate Lucozade. I'm much more of a Monster/Relentless/(If I'm being cheap)Rockstar kinda guy.
Never liked Red Bull, though. |
