E9(no 7)
Cadd9 Am Badd9 I like |
yeah i just did it too!!!! wow. sounds all right.
|
I got a four chord progression: E9(no7), C9, Dsus and A9sus
|
Try this:
0 0 0 3 0 3 1 1 1 2 2 0 4 0 2 2 2 3 0 3 0 0 0 0 |
IMO the Dsus works better than the Am
|
E9, C6add2, Am/E if i'm not mistaken.
|
try following it up with this dorian/blues picking pattern
E--5--7--8 B--5--7--8 G--5--7--8 shift it around to fit the key |
Try this:
0 0 3 0 0 3 3 3 1 0 2 4 4 2 0 2 2 3 x 0 0 0 x x |
E9(no 7)
Yeah, but what's a polyrhythm?
You know what a polygon is, right? A shape with multiple sides. Look at it this way. Mainstream rock can be a circle. One side or, to fit in with our analogy, one rythm. Then, lets look at Meshuggah. They can be your octogon. :D A polyrythmic song is a song where the members play either at different tempos or in a different time signature than the other members at the same time. The most obvious example is 46&2 by Tool. If you've heard this song, listen for the break down near the middle of the song. Carey just goes nuts on the drums. :thumb: There ya go. IT's not the best explanation, but it should be good enough. |
Yeah, but what's a polyrhythm?
Playing differnt rhythms with hands and feet. i.e. Hands are 4/4 and feet are 7/8 |
