Haha, ok. I'll try. Unfortunately, the drums and cymbals are not in seperate tracks, because they're MIDI, so I can't raise the volume of one without raising the volume of the other. Not to mention the MIDI keyboard and bass (since I don't have a real bass yet) are on the same track as well. One thing I can try is less cymbal crashes. Let me edit now.

Well can you just write the cymbal track as a seperate track? Then just lower it at that point...



Because its not a matter of having so many, its just that they are so loud...they are in the correct spot though..


You can also just raise the volume of the guitar dude, or lower the drums as a whole

I could, but it'll take me a while. I have to do it in Finale, and basically rewrite all the drums because it doesn't let me copy and past between documents. Sorry. It's meant for demo purposes anyway, and I'll see if I can adjust the EQ in Garageband to make the cymbals stand out less and the drums stand out more. The Graphic EQ is pretty extensive, so I could probably do it with some work. I won't be doing it today, though: I need to prepare for my journey back to college. :-/ sorry.

All right, I'm going to go now, but before I do, Ramsey, the guitar sound is a Rectified #1 with a 4x12 cab in the left channel and a Rectified #2 with a 2x12 cab in the right, each doubled by a 4x12 Brit Hi Gain in both channels. Nice, thick and pretty clear. The distortion on all amps have gain boosts activated: the Rectifieds are about halfway overall gain and the Brit Hi Gains are all the way up. :thumb:
