Those are some pretty cool presents, Illmatic.

For some reason my family gives me lots of candy and socks for Christmas. I also got a pile of books (a lot of F.S. Fitzgerald this year!) a yoga mat, and a fancy chair to use at work. Oh yeah, and a lot of different types of tea, and a new teapot. And a book about the Beatles.

I actually have to go to my Grandmas soon, which means a lot of food..and possibly more presents. Who knows. It's all good.

edit- Oh yeah, Illmatic, do you know what key your harmonica is in?

Illmatic 12-25-2005 02:10 PM

It is in the key of C.

I must say, this is one sweet ass Doors shirt

But my sleep pants are really tight :( But they're still good.

Good to see everyone's having a good Christmas.

Krabsworth 12-25-2005 02:15 PM

Scyhma what is your email?

Lunch 12-25-2005 02:30 PM

So this Tomorrow album is pretty good. I hope all the CDs I got are as good as this.

Glitterati 12-25-2005 02:58 PM

I'm still digging through some lesser-known stuff on amazon, seeing what I can dig up.

Krabsworth 12-25-2005 03:04 PM
Which one did you get?
Coltrane and pwnage in the same sentence? He is referring to Giant Steps of course.

Schyma it maybe a while I still have to rip it.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-25-2005 03:11 PM

Hank Williams Greatest Hits
Clockwork Orange
One Flew Over the Kookoo's Nest
N64
Wah Wah pedal
20$
Sitar
N64
A little late there :p

Lunch 12-25-2005 03:14 PM

It's still awesome though. I play Perfect Dark regularly.

Illmatic 12-25-2005 03:18 PM

As a sports gamer first and foremost, the N64 did nothing for me - weird controller, blurry graphics, limited memory. I was a PlayStation guy.

Lunch 12-25-2005 03:19 PM

That's all PlayStation was good for, actually.

Illmatic 12-25-2005 03:21 PM

Probably so, but I don't really care all that much.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-25-2005 03:36 PM

Playstation < N64

N64 has some incredible games. Zelda, Theif, Conker's Bad Fur Day, 007, Perfect Dark, Mario 64....etc

Playstation sucked really.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me here.

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 03:56 PM

i like 64. but i just got a playstation 2. so itll probably be phased out.

the last waltz is pretty sweet to see.

i hate mooch friends. my roomate. i hate him. dammit.

Illmatic 12-25-2005 03:59 PM

What did he do?

magicbus 12-25-2005 04:14 PM

Here's what I got:

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die

The Warriors
The Big Lebowski
Dazed and Confused
Concert For George
Concert For Bangladesh
The 40 Year Old Virign

A guitar capo, couple gift cards, new coat, lots of sweaters/socks/boxer shorts, an mp3 player, and a "college survival kit" (a laundry basket filled with snack food and pop").

I'm pretty happy right now :)

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 04:19 PM

seasons greetings Classic Rock people
having got a load of money for christmas, i'm wondering about some classic rock cds to buy. at the moment, the only kind of classic rock (if you really class them as that not prog) is pink floyd, but i'd like to get into some more. i'm thinking about getting The Who - The Ultimate Collection, would this be a good buy for a Who n00b, or should i go for one of their other albums?

Lunch 12-25-2005 04:28 PM

I usually favor the actual albums over greatest hits complilations, but that's probably your best bet if you aren't familiar with their material. Either that or Who's Next.

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 04:29 PM

if youre a who noob, thats a great album to get. its the best "best of..." for the who that ive seen.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-25-2005 04:33 PM

If I lived in Michigan, I'd help you dispose of the body. ;)

Why in the hell don't the Kinks get more respect?!?! Everything I've heard from them has been high quality. I really think they were one of the best bands of the 60's.

Josh 12-25-2005 04:33 PM

ok, thanks a lot. i'll get it within the next couple of weeks :).

I <3 The Kinks.

I was listening to Willie Nelson this morning. He is really good, if you like older country.
Which one did you get?
Blue Train.

Ah, I remember my good old N64 days......Goldeneye was the best game for N64. Hands down.

Then I moved up to an X-Box.
