The Faceless >>>>> that list

anyways, new Burning the Masses song is bueno

Volt2187 10-16-2008 07:14 PM

Yeah, I like them, but they get old after a while. I used to have them on my Ipod and plan on dling the new stuff. Not really deathcore though......

adb 10-16-2008 07:19 PM

I know they're not deathcore

Akeldama still hasn't gotten old for me, new stuff is different but I need to hear the whole thing first before judgment

That list has some good stuff I listen to, but they're not deathcore either

Brother Von Doom - not deathcore, love their ep
As Eden Burns - same deal

one deathcore band I do like that's not on the list is A Breath Before Surfacing

thomasj12e34 10-16-2008 08:42 PM

good deathcore bands are getting easier to find now

botb 10-16-2008 09:01 PM

it depends on whether you enjoy the genre or not. if you are picky about it it's probably hard as **** but im really not that picky about it.

jrowa001 10-16-2008 09:46 PM

i find maybe 1 good deathcore band out of every 6 or 7 i check out. also maybe 1 really good one if im lucky

Pete 10-16-2008 09:56 PM

Pete 10-16-2008 10:05 PM

get "the onyx sun" if you don't get both. theyre really good

srsly, i feel like i have to overcompensate for the no camilla rhodes-talk by talking about them myself all the time

jrowa001 10-16-2008 10:07 PM

i thought they were brought up a few pages back. thats why checked them out. ill get that album frist, thanks

Pete 10-16-2008 10:08 PM

I beginning to think I mention Animosity too much.

beans 10-16-2008 10:19 PM

the blood on my nike dunks

neonskies 10-17-2008 04:59 AM

I'm liking the new Dead Man In Reno EP. They don't disappoint me though.

Volt2187 10-17-2008 06:19 AM
Volt2187: check out Oblige, Viatrophy, and Mirror of Dead Faces
I've checked them all out, out of that list Mirror of Dead Faces is the only one that really caught my attention at my first listen. The other 2 are good, I just need to listen to them more, since they didn't standout to me at first.
what do you guys think of the new burning the masses song
It's pretty badass, especially the first breakdown, heh. Probably a week or less and it will leak, if not, well the release isn't long from now (28th).

Also, that Dead Man in Reno EP has been out for quite a while, I can't remember which blog it was, I think Pull the Deathcore Bitch, but I dled it like 3/4 months ago. Good stuff, thats for sure.

Edit: actually I just realized that the one you guys mentioned is the actual EP, and has an extra song on it, the one I was mentioning just was the songs ripped off of Myspace. Can't wait to here that new song.

no knives and wolves or flesh couture?

clearly the garden of impurity is damo

Volt2187 10-17-2008 01:14 PM

Nope :(

Thats been posted for quite a while, on SOAR's website, so when I saw it I was like **** yes! Especially since The Red Shore didn't post any release dates on their myspace, so I didn't know when to expect it.

And yeah new Irish Front is decent at least. The vocals kinda remind me of Mike's from KotA at moments.

botb 10-17-2008 01:20 PM

also the new DMIR ep rules hard but is lacking in the epic breakdown department :(

hismajestythepope 10-17-2008 01:20 PM

i need to get that still

hismajestythepope 10-17-2008 01:22 PM

oh wow, theyve had this up on myspace for like, months

botb 10-17-2008 01:22 PM

its solid, just like i said, lacking in the epic breakdown department. the vocals, riffing, and drumming are excellent though.

and yeah, it's been up for a while on their myspace.

hismajestythepope 10-17-2008 01:24 PM

its okay, its lacking he is i and i am him though, that song was sweet and deserves to be released
