I want to see James and Dave have some sorta Battle
I don't think James and Dave would ever fight. |

I want to see James and Dave have some sorta Battle
They already did back in the day. I remember a looong time ago reading a recent interview with Ron Mcgoveny, and he said that there was some dispute with Dave his dog and Ron's car or something I forgot. But basically Dave flipped Ron over and socked James across the face. |

Probably just a result of his substance abuse. |
I might as well ask again seen as there are more online;
Does anyone have the remastered KIMB? Could they YSI my way please, I have the original but the sound quality is just piss poor. I would be very grateful if someone would do it. :D jackramsden2003@hotmail.com |
Omg, that movie is like Spinal Tap, only they are actually like that, not kidding. Metallica seem like a bunch of pricks except Kirk and their bassist, I think his name is Robert something. Like when they were like "Jason who?", what a bunch of douche bags.
|
What are they? they have got to be some sort of sub genra of emo.
It would be funny to see Lars cry
They're nowhere near emo |
I meant like a Metal battle. Where they play different instraments and do that kinda thing
Not a real fight lol...that would be cool too |
They're nowhere near emo
I think Britton was talking about somthing different then(he is a huge Tallica fan so i think he would no) |

It's not like Spinal Tap. I think the commentary's pretty funny in parts. |

Is this SKOM?? |
Is this SKOM??
Obviously. |
Obviously.
YA Priceless bit was when Lars was saying **** to himself and then to James face. |
I found it funny when they went to see Jason's band and he had borrowed the road crew
|
Anyone seen the pre-show video on CS?
|
It's funny how he's sitting watching them and he thinks that they are taking Tallica's place.
They might not be emo but that song has a ton of emo influence in it |

i realize they're getting old now, but metallica are such pussies now. what ever happened to those guys who put out the most kickass and rebellious music we've ever heard? Now we've got songs like SKOM with just a verse and chorus looped over for 8 and a half minutes. lame.
i miss MOP. |
This is turning into the Metallica thread II. Megadeth!
I wasn't aware that he went to rehab even :/
Well I knew he went, just not that many times. |
I wasn't aware that he went to rehab even :/
And he also died once. |
And he also died once.
Awesome. |
Haha yeah I had heard about that on Megadeth biography. i was a megadeth fan but hadnt realized just how ****ed up mustaine had been haha... funny when they were talkin about the recording of SFSGSW and dave was so strung out he couldn't sing and play guitar at the same time.

Singing and playing isn't easy. Most people can't do it when they're perfectly normal. And mustaine did it good or maybe even better when he was drunk out of his mind. -Just a quick thing. On the Metallica thread they are discussing the essential 10 metal albums and on all of them Megadeth's Rust in Peace is mentioned. Some of them don't have metallica but they still have RiP In the metallica thread. haha. Go Megadeth:thumb: |
James Hetfield's singing > Dave Mustaine's singing
St. Anger wasn't as bad as Megadeth newest CD either but I like Megadeth as well...just not as much as Metallica Holy Wars is still 1 of the best songs ever |

St. Anger wasn't as bad as Megadeth newest CD either but I like Megadeth as well...just not as much as Metallica Holy Wars is still 1 of the best songs ever
Your got to make reasons to why James hetfields voice is better than Dave Mustain. When Dave sings, does he sing natrually or does he put it on???? |
James Hetfield's singing > Dave Mustaine's singing
St. Anger wasn't as bad as Megadeth newest CD either but I like Megadeth as well...just not as much as Metallica Holy Wars is still 1 of the best songs ever
I used to be like you. But I now like Megadeth more than Metallica. But I still love Metallica, just not as much as I like Megadeth. I actually think TSHF is a whole lot better than St. Anger. But anyways, I need to get So Far, So Good, So What. |
James Hetfield's singing > Dave Mustaine's singing
St. Anger wasn't as bad as Megadeth newest CD either but I like Megadeth as well...just not as much as Metallica
How can you say St. Anger>TSHF??? Anways I prefer Dave's singing. At least he can still sing like he could back in the day. |
Anways I prefer Dave's singing. At least he can still sing like he could back in the day.
exactly. James sounds like a dying horse at times on SA but Dave on TSHF still sounds almost exactly like dave on KIMB. Besides Dave can alter his voice and make different tones James just has his growl. Look at the difference between the voices on Dawn Patrol and Holy Wars. Now look at the difference between the voices on Master of Puppets and Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Q.E.D.-i think |
James and Dave have both sounded better at times. I dont think anyone compares to the vocals James layed down on the black album. But james however sounds horrible now, probably due to the lack of alcohol. Dave is more constant with his singing, but the re-releases of the old albums like RIP sound worse than the originals. Tornado of Souls sounds like a little gremlin singing the chorus.
|
I used to hate the way Dave sings in sweaing bullets...but it grew on me now.
|
sweating bullets sucks on the record. Decent live though.
|
I don't know but I have a thing for 'Use the Man'
|
I don't know but I have a thing for 'Use the Man'
um........what? edit: nevermind :upset: |
I don't know but I have a thing for 'Use the Man'
Yeah It's great. And Sweating Bullets kicks ass. |
This is Megadeth people.
Was it 15 times that Mustain went to rehab?
just for your info. i believe that he stated he only went twice. once for alcohol and once for drugs. the clinic he went to and mustaine himself claim that all the other times he went were to help others overcome their addictions. |
