The Healing Process is their only album that doesn't sound uninspired.

Must say I disagree.While I think the Healing Process is by far the best,Consumed by your Poison doesn't sound uninspired at all.

Honestly I don't like the old stuff. The last two albums are the only ones I can listen to.

"the healing process" is DI's second album

and if you like that chaotic style they had on their first, i think Ion Dissonance did it much better, especially on "breathing is irrelevant"
