I can't really explain it in a lot of detail because if I told the complete story it would be bad press, but I did a pretty safe summary in the Sputnikmusic community thread.

Kimmie would know all about being duped by me, haha. This was just on a much larger scale because only a couple staff members and a couple regular users were 'in' on this dupe and my reasons for doing it.

This was probably a mistake because a lot of them are in denial about it (which means that I did a pretty solid job on this, bwahaha), but when more good things have happened than bad (the only 'bad' thing is that some people resent me for this dupe now, but that's okay with me because people will forget about it), I am extremely proud of me being able to pull it off.

And that's pretty much the only horn-tooting you'll get from me about anything, unless I get accepted into law school or some other prestigious accolade-ridden thing.

Quite silly on the surface since this was an Internet-related thing, but a lot of good came from it, and I give a ton of credit to the people who assisted me with the dupe.

Oh, yeah, I'm still here. I just couldn't actively post for a bit until the things asked for were implemented. I just wouldn't accept "Oh, they're talking about it, it's okay to tell them it was a ruse now!" because the effect would have been lost. As you can see now, I clearly did a phenomenal job in pulling this off, hahaha.

It's all good.

I wanted to ensure that the things asked for were actually implemented, not just considered.

Well this isn't really a problem I have, it's really more of a freinds.

You see there is this girl he really loves and they have been dating for almost a year now, but she really sees him as just a freind and nothing more. I'm really close freinds with this girl and she trusts me with this secret, but ive been best freinds with the guy for almost 10 years now so I'm not sure if I would be betraying his trust by not telling him or betraying her trust by telling him. I'm pretty sure both sides would be a little angry with me if i told one or the other.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I think you should really urge the girl to be honest with the guy. The longer it goes on for, the more he'll get hurt in the long run, but it'll do you no favours to get involved.

A popular example is adultfriendfinder.com. I tried to sign up for it, but it costs money. As I am sure most of those kinds of sites will cost money. But I am putting it out to you guys here to see if anyone has any ideas of where to go if I am looking for a 'brief thrill'.

Some of you are probably thinking 'prostitute' or something of that nature, but I would feel most comfortable getting it for free. So idealy, a site that lets you meet people who are also after a 'brief thrill'.

If this is honestly what you want to do, (I wouldn't be inclined to do anything like this at all but then again I've never had to end a 1 year relationship either,) then I suggest you go out on the pull one night, to a nightclub or something... I wouldn't know where to start in terms of websites and I doubt you'd get much for free. But if it's just a casual fling you're looking for then get yourself into a club, er, do your thing, I suppose.

Yeah the clubs are full of women who want a brief fling. Particularly the clubs that are a bit bigger and play a lot of popular music, there's a ton of them there. Haha I know this from the amount of them that have hit on my boyfriend :p .

Anyway, just go out, be outgoing, and it shouldn't be too difficult :smoke: .

My boyfriend and I are splitting prom costs 50-50.

which amounts to about ~140 for me.
plus the $200 dress, and another ~100 for shoes/hair etc.

i was expecting him to pay for the ticket. i could understand paying for my half of the limo because i was the one that wanted that... but i had assumed he'd pay for the tickets.

i'm trying to save up for my trip to germany and haven't really been spending anything. i've gotten $700 saved up so far plus $1100 in my bank account... but that's also for college. (by the way, the trip costs $2300 though my parents will help me with the cost) and i'm going to need to buy a camera and new mp3 player at some point which'll be ~500.

in short, i'm bummed. really bummed.

And trying to pay for other random things and a girlfriend and a future and blah blah blah, its suffocating me.

i guess it's just an insecurity of mine. i understand fair is fair and we've always done 50-50... but for some reason when we do i feel like it means he doesn't like me enough or something. which i know isn't true.

thanks. i just need to be reassured that every now and then. i realize he can't just go and pay for me.

funny anecdote though: we were at the movies last week, and he went first and paid for it with a 20$... when they said his total was 16$ he was like WTFwhattt? I explained to the guy at the counter i was paying for myself before my boy even figured out why it had been so expensive

The trick to that is you go first and tell the guy you want ONE ticket and the boyfriend will pay for himself.

Amazing. in an hour ive managed to go polar opposite of how i was feeling.
