Anyway, my tutorial this morning was pretty good, except that there's one girl in particular in my group who just doesn't get what we're talking about half the time. She refuses to acknowledge half the arguments we look at, no matter how strong they are, because they conflict with what she's already decided is the truth. She also doesn't understand the idea of logical possibility.

Having a Sicilian lecturer is cool enough to make that not matter, though.

He may well have connections to the mafia, but he seems pretty easygoing and hasn't shot anybody so far. He scares off arseholes in bars though, which is awesome.

my band really seems to be going well now.
we now have all the instruments covered (even bassist)

no keyboardist though, and only covers so far because I cannot write music so my huge stock of black, power and death metal lyrics are as yet unplayed to

first setlist will be:

cradle of filth- her ghost in the fog
iced earth- burning times
megadeth- hangar 18
iron maiden -the trooper
cannibal corpse- hammer smashed face

ideally other songs to be worked on are-

mayhem -funeral fog
cradle-lord abortion
cannibal corpse- sentanced to burn
dragonforce- starfire
mastadon- iron tusk
iced earth- my own saviour

Not yet, but he keeps saying we should all go out for a drink sometime. He tells lots of stories throughout tutorials though - today it was a film he directed a few years ago and how awesome the album they used as a soundtrack was, and how he scared off a drunked wanker who was trying to take his seat, in a bar.

REALLY good set list, dude. I hope my old band in Kentucky takes me back, we could have some fun. I really want to do a cover of Megadeth's "Sweating Bullet's" and "Holy Wars"...I'm recording a bunch of covers ("Stone The Crow") and my own stuff this weekend at a friend's house, hopefully.
