oh. haha. fair enough. mind uploading it some other time? i only have the dvd and they leave out young man blues. which is a shame.
Yea I'll be glad to do it when I get the chance. You want the whole set or just the bit with Young Man Blues?

They shouldn't have left that off the DVD.

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 11:01 AM

the whole thing. i need to be able to listen to it on my NEW LAPTOP SPEAKERS. :p

Lunch 12-25-2005 11:02 AM

No problem. How's the Entwistle solo in 5:15? I've been looking forward to it ever since I saw his solo on the Tommy/Quadrophenia Live Dvd.

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 11:07 AM

its outstanding. his tone's pretty fuzzy which detracts a little bit but in all honesty, he just kept getting better. you know that he was at the top of his game when he died which is why its so much worse.

Lunch 12-25-2005 11:10 AM

In the Tommy/Quadrophenia DVD, one of the only things that was disappointing was that his sound was lost a little bit in the mix. He should always be loud.

I wish he was still around, they would still be killer with him. Even though Townshend and Daltrey still do alright.

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 11:14 AM

yeah, but without both moon AND entwistle, i've lost most of the drive to see them. i mean, roger and pete are great but i listened to the who for the drums and bass mostly. and no matter how great their replacements are, it will never be the same.

i miss you john!

Lunch 12-25-2005 11:16 AM

Yea I always listen for Moon and Entwistle too, but Daltrey and Townshend still put on a good show. They were great at Live 8.

PinkFreud 12-25-2005 11:24 AM

that's true. theyve still got a great energy. anyway, i'm gonna go watch mortal kombat. merry christmas, buddy.

Lunch 12-25-2005 11:29 AM

Same to you. Mortal Kombat kicks ass.

thickasabrick 12-25-2005 01:44 PM
