I can't wait until Nine Inch Nails announces their tour dates.
I saw them years ago on their tour for The Fragile which was 100% awesome.
I can't wait to see them again.

Jamie 02-08-2005 04:50 PM

Im listening to audioslave right now, alot of rage influences, they sound a bit like Nickleback on alot of the songs....

Cant say i like them enough to go and see them actually

risbo 02-08-2005 04:57 PM

I started listening to audioslave the other day, I like the bass work alot from what I've heard of them. Still pissed about them ruining rage though...

What do you mean they ruined Rage?

Omega Red 02-08-2005 05:05 PM

audio is the perfect example why super groups dont work

risbo 02-08-2005 05:06 PM
What do you mean they ruined Rage?
Well how they basicly just replaced zach and renamed the band.

risbo 02-08-2005 05:07 PM
audio is the perfect example why super groups dont work
Eh?

Spaceman Spiff 02-08-2005 05:09 PM

But that isn't what happened at all.
Rage Against The Machine broke up, Zach wanted to do his own thing, the rest still wanted to work together. Enter Chris Cornell. Audioslave is born.

rybass 02-08-2005 05:10 PM

Chris Cornell is the best thing that ever happend to that band in my opinion. I couldn't stand RATM.

Really? I've always been told the band fired Zach because of his writers block. Hmm geuss I'll have to look this one up.

you are forgeting that zach was really mad at tim for what happened at the awards show and wanted to kick him out of the band. the rest of the band didn't want him to leave. so zach left to persue a career as a rapper/hip hop. this has yet to happen, while the rest of the band is thriving as audioslave and tom has his other band (blackhawk??? black something or other)

A little (very) off topic, but I also can't wait until April 15th for a super wicked concert.
Fantomas, The Locust, Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant.

Pssh fuc.k grunge. I hate that they are considered part of that "scene" just because they emerged out of Seatles in the same time frame. They are nothing like that Nirvana shi.t. And yes, I said s.hit.

Alice In Chains were originally a hair metal band... then they pulled a 180 degree turn and became an awesome grunge band after hearing the genre... I believe that's why they changed.
Nirvana was not shit, they were a great band.
And Pearl Jam are no longer grunge, I loved their sound when they were like that, I'm still a huge fan though.
Grunge has almost died out now, except for my heroes, and the pioneers, The Melvins.

Fernandes Power 02-08-2005 06:10 PM

Hi all...

Having trouble thinking of my theme tune

rybass 02-08-2005 06:12 PM

I don't think they were ever a hair metal band and changed their music. My bro has a dvd of theirs. I'll watch it and see if it says anything about it.
