good. at work bored..

We_Love_Lime 09-28-2006 07:43 PM

Work would bore me.

That's why when I grow up, I'm going to be absolutely nothing.

Aaron 09-28-2006 07:45 PM

It's just one part of the cycle. Everyone who works in an office has times when they are less or more productive. Mid morning is a dead-part for me. I zone out and dribble for a half hour or so before getting into it. I normally just go get a coffee but today I can't be bothered to walk to a cafe.

I could be studying for Biology.

But I hate it.

Sorry Quinto, have no idea.

 Tell me about it. We used to have to get up for work at 5 on the weekends, which meant we were usually out late the night before partying. We'd get to work, punch in, and nap for an hour usually. Then we'd do all the day's work in 2 or 3 hours, then nap/tan for the rest of the day, and get paid $14 an hour, not bad.

Aaron 09-28-2006 10:41 PM

I feel heaps better now i've eaten and gone shopping.

LoneStarDrummer 09-28-2006 11:02 PM

shopping? what are you, some kind of woman?

Aaron 09-28-2006 11:07 PM

shopping: K Hats and Ride, 42-strand wires for my snare, laybyed X-hat for my 10"s, priced a TDK-3.

LoneStarDrummer 09-28-2006 11:10 PM

nice, although real men don't use the word shopping.:p

Aaron 09-28-2006 11:14 PM

haha. You callin me metro?

Win A Rabbit 09-28-2006 11:15 PM

 So my friend just told me she decided she wants to go to college, and she starts tomorrow. She just decided/enrolled a couple days ago. Orientation is tomorrow.

She's going to be an "oil and gas administrative assistant". I've never heard her talk about oil or gas except when she complains about gas prices.

I'm guessing she'll be dropped out in less than 2 months.

Aaron 09-28-2006 11:18 PM

Least she can put it on her CV.

"Commenced tertiary study, however disconued study in lieu of a want for industry experience with view to recommence study of a correspondence style to better support day-to-day workplace behaviours"

LoneStarDrummer 09-28-2006 11:21 PM
haha. You callin me metro?
i dunno. i've read post about your taste in music also, so things do tend to lean that way.:p
