No it didn't happen. I've met the guy (briefly) and he doesn't look deformed in any way. He's just ugly.

All three stories in it actually happened to people though.

The author says that at book readings people throw up or pass out all the time during that. I wanted to throw up the first time I read it, but I never did.

I didn't find it that bad. I can't see how anyone could pass out reading it.

I can't see how anyone could really be that disturbed by it.

Anyone that throws up, or, better yet, passes out from that, someone should stomp on their reproductive organs.

I've read that guts story. Was quite disgusting. And I'm a fan of rotten, I think it was because the images were my own making inside my head, instead of ones printed on the screen. Or maybe just anything to do with screwing up genitalia f'ucks with my head. Like the guy who cut off his own c'cok, I've never seen all the pictures it just makes a chill run down my spine.

rotten.com is a site that has 'disturbing' pictures, but focus on the humour on them. It's not for the very weak of stomach, but it's not too bad.

There is 3 'disturbing' image sites I know of. Rotten, which focuses on humour. Wayweird, which focuses on the strange. And Ogrish, which focuses on the complete gross out. Ogrish have the Iraqi Decapitation videos and Iraq War footage.
