There was a school shooting in my state today. It's really sad, one girl died. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

The Denver Public School system does suck pretty bad, but it's not the worst in the country, and this stuff happens here more than anywhere else.

To claim him as a prodigy is a far call. Nothing he played was remotely difficult. Everything was standard stuff. The 16th was a far cry from anything difficult.

he is a super quick learner but to say he is a prodigy is a far cry. you learn easier when you are young

So a friend of my family just got busted again for posession of coke. He got caught, went to rehab, came out, was sober for a while, then apparently slipped back into it.

That kinda sucks.

Anyways, I just worked on that lesson that I posted for about half an hour... I can play all of them at 60 bpm, and the first 2 parts at 90 bpm...

hes no prodigy, he could easily lose interest. and there is a hundred other things that could stop him drumming tomorow.

but to say he can stay locked in-time with the bassist, or just intime at all, is amazing. he probably doesnt even know how to read yet. and hes already able to do such things with his cooardination. he could be an amazing sports player as well.. its just lucky he got into drumming so soon.

MX is **** slow this morning.

Maybe I should go actually do my homework, get some notecards to say what I'm going to say to this one chick, and listen to Mothership Connection over and over and over again.
