Weird, I definitely don't look that as a plus.
Unless she's making sexual advances on me in Spanish, it's not a plus.

However....

Edit: plug? What the hell...

I recently got my iPod sent in, and they gave me a new one! :)

clown_phobia 12-20-2005 06:42 PM

I've noticed that all good music has a human drummer. Who agrees?

PinkFreud 12-20-2005 06:46 PM

Agreed. Theres more diverse drum sounds you can hear and work with as opposed to something getting spewed from a keyboard...

Anyways, my iPod has never been busted but I'ver only had it nearly a year.

Woodstock 12-20-2005 07:30 PM

Hey, could someone upload the Grand Wazoo by Zappa? I heard it's very similar to Hot Rats, so I'm very interested.

Seafroggys 12-20-2005 07:31 PM

or a drum machine for that matter

Glitterati 12-20-2005 10:53 PM

That's an awesome movie. I love Vietnam War movies.

And yea, The End really worked well in that scene.

Leper 12-21-2005 12:47 AM

Well guys, it finally happened. You guys kept bringing him up over and over again, "Jeff Buckley..Jeff Buckley," and so I finally went out and found and bought "Grace."

Leper 12-21-2005 12:58 AM

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it so far. His voice kind of reminds me of the dude from Radiohead.

Still haven't heard it.

Leper 12-21-2005 01:02 AM

I probably would've gotten it earlier but this time I couldn't pass it up. It was in the 3 for $30 section, so I also got my sister's Xmas gifts along with it.

you mean thom yorke reminds you of jeff buckley. because jeff is so much sweeter.

Leper 12-21-2005 01:16 AM

Well of course that's what I meant...of course...but regardless, they sound alike.

Magicbus doesn't even listen to the Allman Brothers. He's an uncivilized cretin.

jpj 12-21-2005 08:27 AM

I have Apocalypse Now Redux on my Netflix queue. I can't wait till it gets here.

When my dad had a few of his friends over for our christmas party the other night, he was showing them a bunch of the music dvd's we had on our new surround sound and I actually sat through the Allman Brothers songs. I didn't really find them interesting though. :/

NP: Cream - Sleepy Time Time

Kaleidoscope Eyes 12-21-2005 10:52 AM

Speaking of broken music players, I dropped my Zen touch and now the buttons don't work. It's pretty pathetc

What's everyone's favorite Zappa Album?

I think mine is Apostrophie or Hot Rats

1. Waka/Jawaka
2. Apostrophe
3. Hot Rats
4. The Grand Wazoo

Those are my top Zappa albums.

NP: Cream - Toad

Badmoon 12-21-2005 11:23 AM

I don't really listen to Zappa at all anymore. I'm really annoyed at him as a person, not really his music though.

1. Cheap Thrills (It's a compilation, but it holds up better than anything else I've heard from him)
2. Hot Rats
3. Apostrophe
4. Over-Nite Sensation
5. We're only in it for the Money

what music dvd do you have with the allmans on it?

my friends all hated apocalypse now. they complained that it was too long. i have yet to see it actually.

badmoon, is it because he hated hippies?

Badmoon 12-21-2005 11:37 AM
badmoon, is it because he hated hippies?
No, he's annoyingly irreverant.

DeusExMachina 12-21-2005 11:49 AM

I've never seen Apocalypse Now. I should.

Hot Rats is awesome. But I don't listen to Zappa heavily much.

Woodstock 12-21-2005 12:11 PM

Zappa:

1. Hot Rats
2. We're Only in it for the Money
3. Grand Wazoo (it's great, Bus)
4. Shut Up 'N Play Yer Guitar
5. Joe's Garage
