I'm back. I just made peanut-butter cookies. They didn't turn out exactly how I wanted them to.

The Brad 11-06-2006 12:24 AM

Peanut butter is always delicious my son.
Which reminds my portly belly that we have Reese's left over from Halloween.

Jody LeCompte 11-06-2006 12:29 AM

I got to play a Reggie Hamilton jazz today, so nice.

Oh, I know it's delicious :) They're just a little soft. I'll leave them to set, and we'll see what happens.

The Brad 11-06-2006 12:36 AM

Personal preference I guess, I like my pb cookies a little gummy.

Az_Holl 11-06-2006 12:37 AM

I hate when i try to make biscuits and they turn into little cakes :(

Wait... no actaully i love it :p

Jody LeCompte 11-06-2006 12:50 AM

Penut butter cookies are too dry.

Also, the ex girlfriend called today.

The Brad 11-06-2006 12:54 AM

Were her cookies dry too?

Yeah, a little gummy is good. These ones were collapsing in the middle. They've hardened up a little now, and they're tasty as hell.

Jody LeCompte 11-06-2006 01:53 AM

I PLAYED a reggie hamilton, I didn't buy one.

Although, if I had some extra money...

Az_Holl 11-06-2006 01:59 AM

Ive decided that there is too much music in the world, which is why people usually only like certain types because they do not have the time or money to listen to more than one type.

Mr. Pickle 11-06-2006 02:03 AM

TMV sucked balls.

Jody LeCompte 11-06-2006 02:04 AM

I enjoy just about all types of music, I dont understand people who only like a few...

Az_Holl 11-06-2006 02:13 AM

Another theory: people dont actaully like music they just listen to whats familar to them and what other people tell them to.

Pluperfect_Arson 11-06-2006 02:30 AM
TMV sucked balls.
You didn't know that they would beforehand?

Mr. Pickle 11-06-2006 02:34 AM

i dig their cds and stuff, but man... they played for about an hour i believe and i think they played three songs. plus, they sounded so chaotic and cluttered

Mr. Pickle 11-06-2006 02:39 AM

flea didn't use his jazz, is that phase past him?

Pluperfect_Arson 11-06-2006 02:40 AM
i dig their cds and stuff, but man... they played for about an hour i believe and i think they played three songs. plus, they sounded so chaotic and cluttered
Man, I think they are such a horrible band.

That sucks that they turned out to be terrible live.

Az_Holl 11-06-2006 03:02 AM

I think there a good band however i see why they would suck live. It'd be really hard to have that crontrolled chaos thing live.

Plus you really have to listen to the album as a whole, and having only an hour long set wouldnt do justice.

That and the fact that i dont dig there new stuff that much.

Aerodyne 11-06-2006 03:06 AM

The neighbors are blaring rap. That means I run Wham! through my bass amp while pressing it against the wall. Jitterbug. :thumb:

Az_Holl 11-06-2006 03:10 AM

Whats wrong with rap? Id rather have that than George Michael.

funkyhoney 11-06-2006 03:20 AM

Depends. There is awesome rap, but there is a chance his neighbors are playing MTV gangsta rap.
Ice pick to the ears>50 Cent

I'm here every Mon, Wed, and Fri from like 10-11:45 EST.

Pluperfect: I listen to some hip-hop, too. Sooo chill.

Spaceman Spiff 11-06-2006 11:36 AM

Soo... Decemberists tonight.

Day of... weirdness, or something, today.

Ting 11-06-2006 11:45 AM

Hey everyone

Spaceman Spiff 11-06-2006 11:56 AM

So, let me just say that there's no need for the whole acting bummed out from anyone, I don't need all kinds of apologies to make me feel better, and I'm not being a dick, that stuff just doesn't really mean anything and doesn't help. I'm fine, anyway.

So, now that I've got that out of the way, I'd like to say that today, November 6th, is one year since my mom died... craziness.
I'm doing well, it's just weird...

Efrim 11-06-2006 11:57 AM

Hi.
What's up guys?

It was weird when my aunt died, because I didn't have as much trouble accepting it as I thought I would.
But I can't really relate.

Spaceman Spiff 11-06-2006 12:16 PM

Accepting it wasn't really much trouble, it was more living with it that got to me for a while. For a while I pretty much had the attitude of, "Fuck it. I don't care," towards everything. Eventually I got passed that, and now... I'm not sure, I guess I'm fine.
