Audacity doesn't have a drum machine but otherwise, pug in a mic and play drums. If your internet connection is fast enough, get on limewire and appropriate a higher quality program.

We had a cover of Skynyrd's "Freebird" coming together pretty well, but then our slide guitarist quit the band last week, so that's the end of that.

He was tired of our female vocalists. To be honest, the rest of us are tired of them too. We don't have anyone lined up to replace them though, so for now we're back to one guitarist. We're going to have to cut all of our blues songs now too.

I don't post in most of the band threads in this forum because I don't know much about those bands. I may have heard one or two songs by a band like Vader, but I don't download often and those bands' CDs aren't available in my area, so I'm fairly uninformed when it comes to that music. I post in here because it's general discussion and something I can actually partake in.

Most people have some kind of difficulty in participating in actual band conversation. They like to able to post one line things, or list things.

Of a 20 page, 3,000 word essay I'm on my 4th page and 423rd word. It's going to be a long night :(

Don't worry, I suffered much the same problem most of last night. Luckily it was on a 1,500 word essay, but I have another to do for Wednesday now (and then another for Friday..and then two more for Monday).

I've got an exam tonight, another one tomorow, one on Thursday, and then I'm done.

I just got back from hanging out with my girlfriend. She looked hot as hell in a mini-skirt.

I came home and tried taking my pills, and for some reason I threw up :(

I just got another haircut :-\

When you get haircuts (if you do, that is), do the stylists/barbers do some ridiculous hairstyle to finish your haircut that makes you look like the goofiest cornball ever, or are they sane and style your hair as you'd normally do it.

I remember the one time I went to some no-name barbershop by my house and I got a side comeover. It was one of my more awful hair presentations. As soon as I walked out that door, I definitely had to fix that up so I didn't look like I was walking out of the '40s.

Sonata Arctica and Megadeth were each $4, Dredg was the most @ $8. Mix of used and new CDs.

I got one haircut on a trip to Washington to "look presentable" on Christmas for the family. We ended up going to the only barbershop in town, on the windows it says "cheap military cuts." I think that will tell you how much hair I lost. Mind you it snowed that whole next week and I didn't have a hat :(
