Yeah I'm definitely becoming more partial to the forums, the review site is really bad these days. I know everybody says that it got worse after a while being there, but it [i]really[/i] is awful. There are so many fucking alts I'm pretty sure there are actually only like 5 distinct people posting. Basically the atmosphere has become one in which the only new users that stick are the ones who constantly post ridiculous nonsense (though even those people are likely alts). I somehow feel out of the loop even though I'm on the site a lot.

For example, the thread for a band Rest quickly became the biggest thread ever, simply because it was this one guy and his alts arguing with everyone and the typical sputnik idiots said haha this sucks because they've never listened to anything that isn't overproduced (not that Rest is actually good). Immediately it became the only thread people were on, and this next part is the worst: I'm not kidding, [i]literally[/i] every recent new user of any note has originated in this thread as one of the shouting alts.

That thread is basically a microcosm of the current review site. All bullshit, trolls, and alts. I would say the problem is that all the new users are 15 years old but that's how it was in 2006 and it wasn't like this. It's utterly awful.
