Tis time for me to get a new bass reso head so I can cut a hole in it. Gonna get an EMAD. But what colour shall I get....black or white. My kit is orangey red btw...

I want to make my old cymbal into a clock but the bell is stopping the hands from getting to the front of the clock if you get me?

The plastic box with the mechanism inside can only go so far into the bell and the arms arent big enough to get through the hole.

How can i do it?

Also...I need to get a Holz thing to protect the...um...hole. How big should I get it, 6" or 4"? I was thinking 4" but it seems kinda small for a bass mic to fit in. How do they measure the hole protector... diameter, circumference etc?

Also...what colour should I get my Holz? Black, chrome, blue or red?

Am leaning towards chrome or red....
