What are you saying about IBanez OT?

Hahah....

E-Pro is the best song ever.

I tend to talk like that, maybe not to the extremes, when i'm around mates etc. I tends to die when I'm around relatives etc.
I was having an argument with my bassist over how we were ending a song, needless to say he got well pissed off and prett much yelled straight at me "Shut up, your argument is Yeah, Mate and Bellend" then he walked out and returned a few minutes later eating a sandwhich.

I'm saying they can't build a players guitar.

They build the Ford Transits of the guitar world, except its the new Transit so its not quite as good as the old ones.

Eh, I'll be the judge of that as my Artcore comes.

I'm not too impressed with the RG I played, it doesn't feel like a guitar. The Iceman was too flat. The AS now... solid, Fenderish feel.

In other news, I need a shave and we're out of razors.

****ing emo brother...

Fretboardninja 06-30-2006 07:21 AM

mornin guitar forum

I just tested for my black belt last night

i fell on my *** but its ok i did everything else perfectly :)

anyone know any ENGL dealers in the US?

kurrpt'd 06-30-2006 07:22 AM

the C1 elite they have at the local shop is friggin brilliant. I mean, i would never pay 700 for the guitar, but the blue finish is fantastic. The fretboard inlays are beautiful, and the guitar is one of the best schecters ive ever played

how it ever wound up in guitar center is beyond me

Nihongo 06-30-2006 07:22 AM

Congrats Brom.

Try GC?

IMO Schecters look too good on paper, but in person just can't cut it for the price.

Fretboardninja 06-30-2006 07:24 AM

thanks dude

naw i dont think GC carries them

yea it was hillarious i was like doing my forms so amazingly smooth and perfect everyone was like ooo nice and I was even proud of my self and I went to do this kick and lost my balance and i was like "oops"

but its all good hehe

kurrpt'd 06-30-2006 07:25 AM

you're nuts

the C7 hellraiser that was sent to my place was fantastic in term of playability and looks. It made my more expensive LTD not seem as nice :upset:

Nihongo 06-30-2006 07:27 AM

Haha, comparing the LTDs I played to the Schecters I played is almost sickening.

Schecter obviously doesn't take time to crown and dress the frets, nor do they put much work into quality wiring.

kurrpt'd 06-30-2006 07:27 AM

how many top end schecters have you played?

seriously?

Ezekiel 06-30-2006 07:28 AM

Sup Fretboardninja

I did some form of martial arts once - my teacher was a complete wanker though and just pissed me off. Y'know, the kinda person who expects you to know things he hasn't even taught you, e.t.c

Y'know - I remember a time when everyone here thought Schecters were great....

2 Classics and a Custom Shop 7.

Then a Damien, Omen, and C-1 Tempest.

that makes a lot more sense then...

you have to figure, ive literally played 20 + schecters. You could argue about the wood quality, but the build itself is unmatched by most the other huge brands (epi, ibby, jackson)

I think of their best ones as poor mans PRS

Country Doctor 06-30-2006 07:36 AM

My old LTD SC500 was a great guitar. Felt a bit average when I had it, but now I really miss it.

I'm not too keen on Ibanezs. I kind-of like those AX ones, but I've not played one worth buying.

I did judo for a bit.

I find Epiphone compares favourably if not better in comparison.

Nihongo 06-30-2006 07:37 AM

I dunno, the wood quality makes it all feel cheap.

Whatever they used for the neck on my bro's C-1 Classic, will not work with the truss rod, I've had to keep adjusting it every few days for him, it keeps bending back.

The finish is really dark and dull, and the binding is choppy and crappy.

The frets need crowned and dressed and when bending in any specific place on the G, B, and E strings, you fret out from the unconsistancy of their work.

The electronics are a mess.

Poor Man's PRS=PRS SE. I'd take one of those anyday.

kurrpt'd 06-30-2006 07:37 AM

i stayed away from ibby since i ditched the Jem. I really like my RG4exqm1 for some reason.

I really look for comfort when i buy guitars. Everything else seems relative (pups, look, etc)

edit : he must have gotten a dud then.

But that jem was sex with strings.
I have a jem.
pwn.
And i got a dime-oflame about 6 months ago, the floyd pulls back so far, its like the recess is twice as big.
I also got a lion claw done on my 270dx, it's pretty much a high end jem now, with a washburn floyd rose in it. i've changed so many things on that guitar.

Hey paul, have you got any recordings of that sexy krank yet? i really want to hear that kitten purr, if you get my drift.

kurrpt'd 06-30-2006 07:53 AM

i did, but i would hardly call them recordings. Nothing "accurate" of now.

I gave my GNX4 to erock503, so im really up a creek without a paddle. I will say that the singer wants to start recording jam sessions for ideas, so i may be able to get something rough in the near future.

Germany v Argentina?

I think Germany might have the upper hand, gonna be close though imo.

Next time I post, I should have my new Telecaster. Sorry, I'm quite excited.

I think it's too close to judge. I'm hoping Germany though.
