What's supposed to be so wrong with the forums these days?

Dunno, people get tired, and also Gav and Leftshoe make things went even worst. Im not blaming them, but people get tired of some behaviours you know. This community is great, there are lots of bass forums better than this, but none of them is such a good community.

I feel like leaving too but I just cant. I cant even cut my connection time cause Im, not that much onlyne so... My situation is just ok. Now Im widening my views.

Ok , i got a haircut to fix my previous haircut which made my hair look like a mushroom :)
and i got anti-dandruff shampoo too. yay.

And now i'm going to use that and the rasberry conditioner and nurse my hair back to perfection.

In case anyone is wondering..NO i don't have long hair, it's just about as long as the action on my bass :lol:

I don't see what everyone gets so uptight about, enough to "leave" and make a big deal of it. I got a little bored with MX, so I didn't post for a while, then I started posting again. I don't see why people make it so much bigger than a deal than it needs to be.

Haha oh man, hair. My hair has gotten pretty skanky lately. It's an inch or two under my chin by now, and I haven't had it cut or trimmed in months so it's uneven and shaggy and stuff.

I'm going to buy some weird hair gel stuff and see if I can keep it out of my face so I don't have to wear this hat of mine every hour I'm awake.

so true Gaslight. I got bored of it last summer and stopped for a while but then decided to come back when conversation picked up again.

Gaslight, with you being a Vet, did you get bored seing the same threads over and over again about "which bass should i buy?" "why isnt my bass working?" "I dont like fender"

and so on. Thats why i got bored last time

I don't really consider myself a veteran around here, I just see myself as someone who's been around for a while.

I don't mind seeing repeated threads about stuff, I don't see why people have a problem with it. I mean, how hard is it to type a quick answer, and even easier to just not reply if you don't want to. It's not like every day can bring only brand new threads.

The only thing that has ever truly turned me off of these forums is when people get a bad attitude about sh[size=2]it[/size], act like they know everything about bass, talk as if they're already a pro, look down on other members for stupid reasons, and crap like that. Some people take the forums WAY too seriously, and come across like jerks. The bass forum might be the coolest and tightest group on MX, but it doesn't mean that there aren't people who are jerks from time to time, and they are what hurts the forum, nothing else.

I don't know why people are having such a big cry over things at the moment, nothing seems so bad. The only change I notice is that there are a lot more non-bass threads floating around, but what's the harm? It's a phase, a reaction to everyone having a big "problem" with the community, its just to get the place feeling more like a community again, in a week everything will be back to normal, and I'd bet good money a lot of members who left in protest will end up back here sooner or later.

I don't care if someone wants to leave for the right reasons, I just hate it when people act like it is beneath them to be here any longer.

Eh I don't know, it's hard to explain, all I can really say is peace out to everyone, if we'd all just calm the fu[size=2]ck[/size] down about sh[size=2]it[/size] there'd almost never be a problem.

I've only been here since September, so 5 months, and I have seen the same thread many times. But what can you expect? There will always be new people joining up and asking questions, and it is a bass forum, there are only so many questions that can be asked or so many things that can be said until there's nothing left.

ohhhh good black_star! My hair feels sooooo nice after doing that! I have to wash it either every night or every other night, then at the weekend i do the really good wash with conditioner

I'm a Dungeons & Dragons kid so to me level 20 is impressive.

exactly Gaslight! everyone is just crying over spilt milk really. But everyone wants to be involved with the comotion that they try to get involved with whats going on, making it seem even wrose! Its silly really. Give it a week, yeah :thumb:

Food hey?

My favourite foods include;

Bacon & Eggs (sometimes with toast.)
Pizza (Hawaiian is my pizza of choice.)
Chicken burger with fries.
Pork chops.
Crumbed cutlets.
This meal they have at a Steak restaurant near me, it's like a steak, a lamb chop, a suasage, corn cob, fries, and an egg.
Tacos and nachos.
Hot dogs.
Fried rice and honey covered deep fried chicken from my local Chinese restaurant.

Oh and don't judge me on this, though it is pretty disgusting and absolutely not healthy :lol:.

Get two slices of pizza, get some chicken nuggets from Macdonalds. Place one slice of pizza topping-up, arrange McNuggets as desired. Place other slice of pizza on top of nuggets, topping down. Eat like sandwich.
