almost perfect set list, satellite was the best song of the night, they made it really loud and intense, the also sped up the wrong way and did a bunch of cool stuff with other songs. Tunde is such a great frontman and Dave Sitek is an amazing guitarist. the guy with really high voice who plays guitar now is also sick.

Wasn't very into it. To me just sounded like another band trying to imitate mliw and not doing a very good job. The only newer stuff I liked were the songs on Dungeon Sessions. Plus, that band hadn't been on the east coast for a couple years before recently so I guess our perspectives are different, but in that span of time they got really horrible live which really killed the band for me.

Yeah they haven't been out here in a while. They played absentee debate and everyone went wild. It was a fun show. But yeah I agree its about time they called it quits. Wonder if they played a good show instead of playing bad now.

It already is to a degree but how is this a good idea? There will only ever be one Modern Life is War. Its like all the AN ripoffs and every wave of wannabes after any unique band makes a big impact... they're all horrible.

And to be fair the last couple times I saw LLT they were getting better. I think its because they always played drunk, so either they started playing sober or just got better at playing drunk. I went to the socal shows which ended up being their 3rd and 2nd to last shows, and they sounded decent.

No talk on the new KTD album. I'm really in to it, new guitarists put down good riffs.

Only given Fractures one listen so far, but it's decent.

Carpathian dropped their mosh sound and now they have this song on their myspace that sounds exactly like MLIW. Next thing I know, they're signed to Deathwish. Pretty lame imo.
