it's a ruse. that song was cool, and got me hyped for the album. the rest of it is a joke.

example: the intro track is a re-use of the keyboards used in their last album.

I turned down a chance at that cause I'd only heard Lou in his really old band, and then I heard Conducting From The Grave's new album a month later and was like god damn it.

was just listing to CFTG this morning, is escellent, and I love Misery Index would love to see those bands heaps, not so much AoAA or Arsis.

So to make it brief:

CftG was good, but I hoped they would have sounded better. Maybe it was just me.

AoaA was pretty good, they brought the juns, that's for sure. Their singer seems like such a tool, but I like them anyways.

Misery Index was really good, even without their second guitarist, who wasn't there for some reason. They were really tight and fast as balls, which was refreshing. I also like that there are two vocalists.

Arsis was good and all but they didn't play my favorite song (We Are The Nightmare) and their new bassist is awkward to watch. Also their guitarist (that's not James) is really fruity looking in an 80's Alexei Laiho kinda way.

Dying Fetus was really good. I know their drummer from his other band and I had no idea he could play like that. Dude is one of the best drummers in metal IMO. It was cool to see the bassist do all the sweeps and stuff, being a bassist myself. Also, like Misery Index, I like that they do the whole dual vocalist thing. I've always liked that going back to my Blink 182 days.

Anyways I got a few shirts that I might post later for you all to hate emphatically. Good show.

Nah they're monotone and haven't really progressed much.

I do prefer more variety, but they do what they do well.

I couldn't say. I'm not familiar with them enough to know. They did play the song "Traitors" from their last album though. :)

BTW I just got their new album off the interwebs, I like it so far.
