i was going to go watch them record today, weird. they're coming out with a split with great friend of mine idk about the suis la lune one though.

when I said soon I meant early next year, but yeah they're recording the split with great friend of mine and their new full-length before then i think

JHW and NF are both really stereotypical emo and not hardcore at all. you have just been listening too much to this modern Orchid shit. ;-)

i was mostly saying jhw is more hardcore, it sounds really black flag-ish at parts. nf is pretty emotional id say. the singer does kind of cry at the end of haloed eyes.

and sweet i'll check those out in a bit

"Haloed Eyes" is generally considered the best emo song ever along with "Angry Son" by Indian Summer. crying is a necessity!

two bands that aren't on my blog that you should definitely check out if you like NF and JHW are Admiral and Ache Hour Credo. really great bands with the same sort of vibe. Admiral's Revolving and Loading is a top notch 7".
