w00t, my gig yesterday was pretty cool. We played with 2 other bands we know. The first band was rock 'n rollish but kinda boring as every song sounded quite the same and the drummer wasn't hitting the drums, he wassing petting it. Then we played and it went pretty well. The crowd (around 70 people I guess) also enjoyed it, and that's the whole point :) And the band that played after us was also pretty good, although the drummer was really sloppy at the beginning of every song. The beer was also good (and free :D), so it was a night not to forget :)

My band has our first paying gig on feb 24th and we finally found a bassist. It's pretty sweet. We have one song where the beginning is in 3/4 on guitar (which i play in 4/4 overtop), then it goes into 4/4, thena bunch of other time sigs which i can't remember then eventually 15/8...so i'm gonna have a good workout with that song.

I find Miss Murder incredibly annoying and catchy, otherwise, I hate'em, but I've only heard a couple other songs.... MCR, well..I dunno. I'll say thair alright, but you wouldn't catch me listening to them.
