And now you do!

So, a my friend thinks I am weird because I say "Please" and "Thank You", when I order and get food at Hooters :-/
It's like that in England. No one says please and thankyou but i was raised to do it.

Cain 03-26-2005 10:37 AM

That's right! You don't do that at Hooters! You smack those wenches to help move them along! No pleasentries required.

/....not that I've been to Hooters or would actually advocate such activity.
What?
This isn't a guitar thread, if that's what you were implying.
Also, there's a whole Drums and percussion forum for you to frolic in.
Frolic? I don't frolic, I play the drums smart one. I've only been in the forums for 3 days, and this was the 1st thread I went to. I got compfortable here, so I never went looking for a drum forum.

RiceMonster 03-26-2005 10:38 AM
on a completely different note I am curious to whether anyone from the myriad of guitarists here uses Boss pedals.
I use a Boss DS distortion pedal. It's pretty good.

Well, maybe you should.

metalcritter666 03-26-2005 10:39 AM

in england, if you say please or thank you after you've ordered your food at Mcdonalds or whatever everyone will think you're a complete prick. But as MXican said your parents still try to make you do it.

Cain 03-26-2005 10:39 AM

Well, maybe that was a mistake. Quit treating users way smarter than you are like they're idiots, because I've got news for you, "smart one," you're the only person I see acting like an idiot around here.

Cain 03-26-2005 10:40 AM

RCA? Listen to my song!!!!!! :( :( :(

When I said frolic, what I really meant was "Post".
Also, there's no point in complaing about Guitar orientated discussion in the Community thread when you haven't looked to see if their are alternatives to suit your needs.

Is it a DS-1 or DS-2?
I've got an MD-2. It's good for rythm but it's a bit noisy.

metalcritter666 03-26-2005 10:47 AM

i want a jackson or an ibanez or an ESP

Ah, I went and looked at it, and it's an SD-1. That's overdrive, not distortion, which is a difference.

Bartender 03-26-2005 10:53 AM
im 15 and i hate pop punk
A minute ago you were 14 and hating pop-punk.

Incidentally, what's the point in saying, blanket statement, you hate pop-punk?

And what post of Superpeer's were you quoting?

And England is not a shithole.

falcone08 03-26-2005 10:54 AM

i think everyones raised to say please/thankyou, but no one does it.

GurS 03-26-2005 10:54 AM

some of it can be a bit ****ty, tender. you can't deny it.

Most beautiful sight in England? the road leading to scotland :)

RiceMonster 03-26-2005 10:55 AM

Who give a fuck if you hate pop-punk anyways?
