You still alive?

Braindead 04-02-2008 10:30 AM
The singer of Die Young just posted this bulletin on MySpace, further proving that they are one the hardest working bands in hardcore today. They tour nonstop and tend to put themselves in ridiculous situations (having already played 6 azn countries, the entire continental US on several occasions, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, COLOMBIA, Mexico, and many more.) They're currently on their first of two European tours for this year.
After reading that I checked them out and they're really good.

pixiesfanyo 04-02-2008 01:51 PM

i hope the new Cold World preorder comes up soon.
i hope the new Cold World preorder comes up soon.
It won't. Preorders go up like amonth before the release and that thing isn't coming out till like early summer

MENTAL YO 04-02-2008 08:55 PM

cold world got b33f with soul control dawg

Let's Chop Cats! 04-02-2008 09:14 PM

haha i thought that interview was a joke. he asked a couple bands what they thought of SC and both had bad things to say, its hilarious though.

ATM 04-02-2008 11:22 PM

Are Modern Life is War good live?

santi3hg 04-02-2008 11:27 PM

Yeah they were pretty good when I saw them just with Witness and MLMW out.

ATM 04-02-2008 11:28 PM

Nice, I may drive to Baltimore to see them.

Let's Chop Cats! 04-02-2008 11:32 PM

They rule live, definitely worth seeing especially since this is your last chance to.

Pat, the RZL DZL lp, let down but some of the tracks have some bangin riffs which I'm into.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-03-2008 01:04 AM

Yeah there's some pretty sweet riffs but there's just something about it missing that I can't quit put my finger on

Once again, I envy you Christian.

MENTAL YO 04-03-2008 02:07 PM

Yeah, MLIW is great live. Bummed I'm not seeing them one last time.

I've only heard two songs from the new RZL DZL lp but judging by those two I know exactly what you guys mean. The songs aren't great but some of their riffs are awesome.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-03-2008 03:14 PM

Yo Reiner I just realized I never got the RZL DZL lp for you, you still need a good version?

Let's Chop Cats! 04-03-2008 05:52 PM

Nah I found one, thanks though.

MENTAL YO 04-03-2008 09:50 PM

yo anybody here ever go on tour? if so how successful was your first tour? my band is deciding whether we should go out this summer or not. I think it'd be sweet but our singer thinks that we'll just end up playing to nobody every night and lose a ton of money

BuddyBigsby 04-03-2008 10:29 PM

I definitely wouldn't go on tour unless you already have somewhat of a local following and some hype around your band. Too many no name bands tour and just **** themselves over.

lynch_me 04-03-2008 10:36 PM

True.

cbmartinez 04-03-2008 10:37 PM

yeah we all remember the ill advised Operation Phoenix World Tour 07

BuddyBigsby 04-03-2008 10:47 PM
yeah we all remember the ill advised Operation Phoenix
oof

MENTAL YO 04-04-2008 01:54 PM

alright. thanks guys. i think we're looking at doing a short tour (somewhere around 7 days) so we get our name out and even if we do lose money it won't be a ridiculous amount.

BuddyBigsby 04-04-2008 02:01 PM

pixiesfanyo 04-04-2008 02:21 PM

pixiesfanyo 04-04-2008 02:23 PM

verizon WIRELESS AMPITHEATER

MENTAL YO 04-04-2008 02:52 PM

is the set your goals/movielife thing happening once or is it a tour?

BuddyBigsby 04-04-2008 03:19 PM

yeah its basically like warped tour. the good bands are mainly playing the small stages so its chill.

the movielife thing is a one off thing but i think they might be doing the east coast bamboozle too.

Brad Norris Fan 777 04-04-2008 03:22 PM

yeah bro

Just tour in your own state and places that are not that far from you for a couple days straight.
